I reserved the car at 600usd at Expedia but increased to 1000usd at the counter. Only focusing on sales but no interested in customer satisfaction. When I arrived at the return place 2 minutes earlier than the closure time, it had already been closed and nobody was there. Spending extra time and taxi fee to find another return place. 1 star is very generous for Avis.

I do not recommend it when buying online since they seem to be low prices but when you arrive at the place of delivery they bill you four times more because they say that online does not include taxes and other fees

We used the QuickPass service and sailed through to collect the car but unfortunately we received a tatty dented 4 year old Hyundai.

Avis needs to recognize that it is a national company!! When an employee at the preferred service desk in Miami, tells you that if there is an error with your billing, you have to address it with the pick up point (Orlando) and they have no way of checking on their computer about special no fee drop off arrangements due to the hurricane, they have a problem. They have a dissatisfied customer. Getting billed $1600 instead of $400 and even if it gets fixed, it takes 5 days to get the paperwork straight. You don’t know what you’re being billed until you return the car. When the agent said I would be billed an additional $1200 and I told her, I’ll drive it back to Orlando, her response was: “it’s too late, you’ve already returned the rental.” Who trains these people? I have other options for car rentals. I know that ultimately this will get resolved but what a hassle and frustration after coming off a difficult trip. Their computer system should show what was promised and the car fees calculated properly at check out time. Between having to go a desk agent after dropping off the car who was Ill equipped to handle a customer complaint and then suffering through wait times, on the customer service line, a struggle to speak to a live representative and dropped calls, I’ve had it with Avis.

Avis MCO rental car return and pickup are located on the airport campus at 1 Jeff Fuqua Boulevard, (Term A & B), Orlando, FL. As you enter the airport campus follow the signs to your departure terminal, and from there, look for signs leading you to the Avis Rental Car Return. Flight info is required to return your car here. When you schedule Orlando Airport at your return destination make sure the airline code is included on the reservation.
In the parking garage, when you are entering the airport you will see signs for arrivals, departures, and rental car return. Follow the signs to the parking garage and then you will see the signs for Avis. You pull the car right up and get out you dont need to park it in a spot.
Do you take debit cards?
I am organizing a surprise for my family and I wish a particular vehicle. Is it possible to arrange the rental or is it just a question of luck?
Depends on your contract.
Drop off for Avis is in the airport. Just follow the signs for car rental return . And then it’s a very short walk to the ticketing /check in area . Probably the best / easiest airport to rent a car from I have ever experienced .
If you are asking about Orlando they have an Avis pickup in the A and B terminal. So which ever one you come in it is easy to get to your rental car. If you make a mistake and go to the wrong one they will fix you up with a car anyway.
Usually, they have more restrictions on using a debit car. They will need proof of your return flight, a bigger security deposit. Best to call the company and confirm their rules. Cheers
JM Yeo I paid 68 dollars for about days in a half I drove all the way to West Palm plus we also drove to Dayton Beach... down load the avis app they have great deals ! Hope this helps.
It is inside the terminal. Just follow the signs for Rental Cars after you get off the plane. If you are returning a car, justcfollow the signs for where to drop it off. Very easy at that airport.
No they require you to be at least 21
No, you will walk across the breezeway at arrivals. There will be someone to check u in. You can also check-in online and not have to speak to anyone and simply go directly to your car. Your car and model and location will appear once you check in on line

Don’t think I’m a expert to answer this question but CS should be able to answer
I rented a Yukon this past summer (same car, just GMC instead of Chevy) and it has two fold flat seats in the back, and they were not removable. I left one seat down for additional cargo room and used the other one for a passenger.
One way rentals are usually more expensive
Yes you can.
Yes you need a CC for a deposit
I would call them when you are on your way to return the car. The staff has always been helpful when I've needed them. I'm sure they could have someone meet you and help you out.
Yes, but safer w credit card, built in auto insurance usually.
Most credit cards also provide insurance when you use it to reserve a rental.
There's a lost and found number on the website and you need to report it and get a case number.
$65 per seat for the duration if your car rental is at Avis, Budget or Payless
On the property lower level
All cars are automatic transmission, you will be fine
they won't be able to guarantee a particular model, unless it's a Corvette.
Prepay become a member and use that member as you sign up with a profile.yout name will spread on the board and then you need is to bypass everyone by Standing in line for members ONLY. You could ask and they'll tell you where to by pass the line. Now if you wish to pay later ... Use the kiosk and ask them to help you sign up as a member.
12 people in line in orlando and 2 people working. 1 hour wait!
If you are renting the car at the airport, just pick up the contract at the counter and then go to the area where you are the cars you choose the one you rented and they already have the keys in the car.
Something you added
All car rentals are located one floor or level down from where you pickup your luggage from the carousel.
Provide company issued id, if not a letter from your company should suffice
No. You can only use a debit card along with a return flight information. Most Florida residents aren't flying out so the answer is no, it's not possible to rent a car with debit card.
NO
Yes 24/7 at Orlando
Great company
You can decline auto insurance during the pickup. They would ask for your own insurance provider name.
No there is a connected walkway to the terminals
In the main terminal parking garage

The Sunpass transponder is on most avis cars at mco (at top of windscreen.) There is an on/off switch. You are then billed on your credit card a few weeks later. Avis' charges are not the worst and are available on the sunpass website. Nick S.
Avis Car Rental was wonderful I had no problems at all I went in and got what I needed as far as a vehicle and brought it back and they were great
Yes
Sign up for Avis Preferred & fill in all your details/licence beforehand. Or phone & ask them!
We paid about $ 15 rental fee for 13-14 days.
A little
Sure. Try using the Avis website to book it. I often find going to the retailer or supplier & asking them way more effective than asking random members of the public 🤔
Try asking AVIS & not other Google users as we're not authorised to.
It is on airport. The depot is inside the multi storey onsite car park.
Create an account, book the type you prefered, pay with credit card(debit card is not accepted).
Yes. No problem
The truth is I do not know. But I think there are carts
And
Yes Theresa you can use a debit card to rent a car.
Yes, there are luggage carts near the luggage turnstiles where checked in luggage is received upon deplaning. I think it is $5.00 a cart with credit card. Self-service.
