I go to the Salvation Army for food. They have helped my family a great deal in difficult times. I know they also have weekly Sunday church services. This organization is incredibly generous with donations and resources for families in need.

Good place for emergency family service. Office open Monday thru Friday. There are food distributions every Monday and Friday.

Probably. They accept volunteers. Don't know about community service credits. Check at the Family Services office. They will probably refer you to volunteer services.
