I have been in many hospitals since I have been diabetic since I was 12 years old, Mountain View I would say was the very best hospital I have ever been in, I was out patient but they cared for me with upmost detail not missing a beat.

The staff members were so nice and made my daughter and I feel very comfortable. They took their time with my daughter and explained exactly what they were doing.

This is a great hospital to go to. The staff were all friendly and polite. Went there in extreme pain and left knowing exactly what was wrong and feeling much better. The staff are amazing! I didn't feel rushed, or as if I were an inconvenience. They listen and seem to genuinely care about you as a person. I will be going there from now on.
What time did u show up and if it was crowded and if you were being seen and all of the sudden it seems like they dropped the ball on helping you may be something of a greater emergency room up and it also sometimes takes a while for your lab results and results to come back to them but if they are rude there's no excuse for that either. I do agree with you about the compassion there's some of the staff and not all of the staff.
Yes
Yes they are very professional and good hospitality
Thank you for your message. We will look at this.
Yes
My friend has that and she goes to MTN view
We just had a boy there April 15th. And yrs dad can stay eoth you throughout your entire stay. And say, for example, if he has to go to work graveyard, like a lot of dads, he can swap with your mother or sister and she can stay the night to fill in for him. You may record, you juat can't set up a tripod wit a camera unless it's in te far corner. But if you're going to be recording with you phone or a smaller style digital camera, you're good. And the normal maxe is 2, however, my mom wasn't having it, so we had four and stood firm on that, because we've had four kids there, back to back, in the past 4 years and they just recently changed the rules to the 2 ppl b.s. But from my understanding, it's not a rule, it's a preffence and when we asked to speak to the hospital director about the matter because we werwnt infrmed of any new Nevada law stating there could only be 2 ppl in the room during delivery, the nurse told us we were fine, just to stay out of the way. She was mad tho👍🎉🎊
Yes,u should be able to take ur baby anywhere., especially these days and times.🤔just hold him close while she is giving birth.blessings😇😇😇
A little over an hour.
I would ask but I did see some office building with different specialists
On there web site
My husband had surgery there and the care was Excellent.
Thank you for the feedback. We are sorry to hear about the difficult blood draw, however we are glad to hear the rest of your stay was ok.
Thank you for your question and congratulations on the pending birth of your baby! Packing for your hospital stay shouldn't be stressful - this checklist will ensure that you and your baby have everything you need during your stay. It is recommended to have your luggage ready for the hospital at 28 weeks of pregnancy. These items will help you stay prepared and comfortable during your stay. • Nursing bras or normal, 2 or 3 • Nursing pads (optional) • Nightgowns, 2 or 3, preferably knee length • Gown: open in front (avoid closed ones) Avoid white gowns • Slippers: it is recommended that they be washable and have a non-slip sole. • Your favorite shampoo, conditioner, brush or comb • Toothbrush and toothpaste • Mom's clothes for homecoming • Baby clothes for homecoming • Receiving blanket, thicker in cold weather • Umbilical cord blood kit (if desired), check with your doctor • Car seat approved to carry baby home • Cell phone charger • DO NOT BRING ANYTHING OF VALUE (jewelry, credit cards, etc.)
It really doesn't matter, my mother is 88 years old, and not once but twice. The stafe failed didn't do what was required of them to do. First someone stole her wallet. Second they walked away while she's was choking on medication. That's lack of experience. Not being understaffed
You're asking me I have no idea Valerie I'm sorry all you can do is ask of course that's five days away I don't know if they would keep her there for five extra days anyway good luck she's in good hands though I can tell you
I would say the Nevada Board of Physicians
If you know the doctors name maybe you can call the main number to get additional information. Hope this helps!
I had surgery at this Hospital 3 weeks ago. Staff was awesome and the hospital it's very clean. I would not hesitate to have a child at this Hospital
Hi, thank you for your question. You will make a brief stop at the Welcome desk on the first floor, then make your way to the second floor.
Yes, Uber and Lyft are available in Las Vegas and service our neighborhood. There are a variety of hotels in our immediate area. We would encourage you to do an internet search to find one that works for you. Our Zip is 89128.

Hi Mary, thank you for your question. We do offer different pain relief services for patients after certain types of surgeries. You can read our blog below for more information. Make sure to talk with your physician and nurse about your goals and expectations prior to surgery as well. https://mountainview-hospital.com/blog/entry/mountainview-hospitals-acute-pain-services-for-patients
Hi, we do allow RVs to park for a short time, if you have a loved one in the hospital. Please note we have a busy parking lot and spaces can be hard to come by sometimes. The best parking for larger vehicles is our northwest parking lot.
The er treats it.
Hi Justine, thank you for your question. We of course think our neurologists are great. We do have coverage in the ER as well as in our inpatient units, and we have a dedicated Neuro ICU if needed. If your mother is having a medical emergency, please call 9-1-1 and ensure she gets to your closest ER.
I've been squeaking everywhere. I even left a message at pathology.
I'm on Medicaid...I'm not sure about childbirth I would suggest calling them....I had to have something removed... good luck 🙏
It 24/7 i believe
Not sure . i would think if you arrived in labor they couldn't turn you down. They would probably just collect it during the time they come around for the insurance part or bill you later ... Registration should be able to answer a question like that
Sonny, MountainView's Medical Records Dept. shouldn't have any difficulty finding your records so long as they still have them on site. Some medical facilities hold records 5 years, others 10 before microfiching (sp?) them to the archives where retrieving them is much more of a pain in the tailfeathers! However, they can track you by your last name or your Social Security number without your D.O.S. (Date of Service) fairly easily... sometimes easier than D.O.S.! Remember, you'll be required to pay for them...many of which are useless to us laypeople. It's kind of harsh to have to pay up to $1.50 per page for diagrams and graphs that no one but a specialist will understand so it's in your best financial interest to try to be as selective as possible because even the most minor procedure creates hundreds of pages of documents. Sadly, I had to buy them all to find out I actually only needed and could use less than half so be forewarned.
Starbucks, cafeteria, gift shop, there's a Subway connected but down the hall from the main entrance. If you're looking for a stronger drink PTs is across the street
La Quinta Inn Santa Fe if you want a lower budget you can go Texas or Fiesta right there on Rancho
Thanks but the charge nurse dident help ?
Not likely.
Yes and is one next door and 3150 in the office building
Yes as above
Call the hospital's main number, dial "0" and dispatch will ask you for a floor and room number, possibly a name and transfer you.
They do gastric surgery.
My wife just gave birth at mountain view on the 4th of this month
Go somewhere else
No hospital in the country has "call ahead" placement. You have to be triaged according to your symptoms and health history.
There are two hotels by Mountain View one is very close one is down the block just can't remember the names but one is on two blocks away on Tenaya
It's for observation of patients who may or may not need to be admitted. Stands for Clinical Decision Unit.
Not sure. Sorry
Sad girl is correct. A hospital cannot refuse you, and they will not transfer you anymore. This is what used to happen but not anymore. Additionally, all hospitals do take Medicaid regardless if you have out of state Medicaid and you're just visiting.
Yes
It depends on the severity of the newborn. If he was placed in NICU, they have strict visiting hours, and you must be accompanied by one of the parents of the newborn. If he is in the nursery, the same applies but the hours are less strict.
