The team was extremely helpful during my outpatient procedure. Not only did they call for my transport - checking back periodically to make sure I was comfortable - they also brought me snacks during my wait. Both the surgeon and anesthetist gave detailed explanation before my procedure.

The hospital was amazing; while no one likes to be in the hospital, it is many times just something that has to happen. The Southern Hills facility made my stay as pleasant as a hospital stay could be…and my nurses in ICU, Lryssa and Josh were incredible. Lryssa was with me through the toughest of days and always kind and compassionate!

I went in last week for surgery. The entire process was very organized and I liked how the hospital utilized technology to keep me posted on what I needed to know as far as checking in, records, and lab results. My support person was kept updated throughout my time after they took me into the OR. The hospital used text message updates which I think is pretty impressive because I know some other hospitals that don't relay messages at all unless you ask them. The nurses and staff were very kind and took the time to answer concerns that I had.

It's a great hospital if you're not a Black man with a White wife (Interracial) expecting....allow me to explain. Seven years ago my wife and I had a beautiful baby girl at Southern Hills. Unfortunately, our doctor, a RACIST older White woman POS to be exact treated us like trash. So my wife and I decided to transfer to another hospital but was threatened with a call to CPS. We had a HORRIBLE experience and vowed to save anyone in a mix race marriage or relationship the headache. However, things have changed for the better over the years and recently I fell sick with food poisoning and was treated exceptionally well by the ER doctor, nurses and staff. My opinion of Southern Hills has changed dramatically in a positive direction. They seem to take the quality of their patient's care very seriously now. I will never forget the way my wife and I were treated several years ago but this is proof that even an institution can change if governed by the right people

Hi Shelly! Sometimes a patient cannot receive flowers/ food due to their condition but please ask the nurse caring for your loved one for further clarification.

As a patient 4 times since the first of the year, I was never served a meal on Styrofoam plates. Plastic ware is normal serving utensils for hospitals. I know this because I was R.N. in California for 27 years. Southern Hills Hospital provides excellent care and I have no hesitation in recommending them. Thank you for your question.

You can stay as long as you want to at Southern Hills Hospital. Its a very wonderful hospital too.

Call records monday ask to put your records on disc. My suggestion would be to go down there to pick them up and set a time for them at that time. They tend to be slower if you don't good luck
