This is a great hospital to go to. The staff were all friendly and polite. Went there in extreme pain and left knowing exactly what was wrong and feeling much better. The staff are amazing! I didn't feel rushed, or as if I were an inconvenience. They listen and seem to genuinely care about you as a person. I will be going there from now on.

Well my experience at mountain view e. R. Was excellent both times I went in!!! I am a heroin addict and was afraid to go to any hospital but had to go due to severe abcess! Both times they could not have been nicer and never made me feel like I was a worthless druggy! Took very good care of me and I would recommend this hospital to anyone!!! Also had to go for my x husband and that got him in back within 5 minutes!! Thanks mountain view staff... I loved all of you... Awesome nurses who never judged me ☺️

The E.R. there is horrible! The doctor treated me poorly after my motor vehicle accident. He made it seem as if I was lying.

I had an Awesome experience there! They have the most outstanding Cardiac team in Las Vegas. I have heard horrible things about this hospital but I went in and realized they were extremely busy and my thought is that the people who are feeling so negative about this hospital was angry that they were waiting for so long but I greeted each staff member with kindness and gratitude and told them I appreciate their help and I know they are doing their best to help everyone as fast as they can. They are human too and probably feel so unappreciated. I didn't have not one uncaring moment while in that hospital!!! I hope I answered your question in detail!

I dislike the ER as well. My father had Alzheimer's, and was sent to Mountain View from his memory care facility for being altered and combative (he was, but the facility let him fall twice in 12 hours). The ER wouldn't let our family back to talk to the doctors or nurses, for at least a half hour. When we finally were allowed back, my father was on a gurney in the hallway (not a room or even a cubicle), with wrist restraints tying him to the gurney. His mouth was bone dry, no one was giving him anything to drink, or even moistening his lips. He kept asking to use a restroom, but no one paid any attention. That evening, the ER physicians (a team of 3) came to tell me that my father was going to die, and would not get any better. He was admitted to a room upstairs - the following morning, he was almost his "normal Alzheimer's" self. Sadly, he did deteriorate and pass away a few days later, but our experience in the ER was completely horrible.

Yes, its a great hospital, our friend just had a heart issue and he is now doing good and going home today.

I'm not so sure about how they treat patients. I took my daughter there last night with a bad rash that broke out suddenly. The nurse was literally rolling her eyes the entire time I was talking and at one point, just started talking right over the top of me. She was so rude, in fact, that we didn't even make it through triage before I was humiliated to the point of walking out and going to a different hospital. It's pretty sad when the nurse in triage thinks that shaming people for bringing their 3 year old Autistic daughter in with a severe rash that came from nowhere is how you should treat people. I think she needs a different job! I will not be going back!

Absolutely not! Avoid at all costs. Horrible care for the patients

They treated me very well! I came in through the ER and was taken right in. Labs, chest x-ray, CT scan were all done within an hour (and they were busy!) The staff were very professional and courteous. Every employee I saw seemed to help each other out, in one way or another, all with smiles. I had a great experience!

My experience was excellent

They are some whacks mo empathy no compassion

Absolutely not! Avoid at all costs. I also actually witnessed a release of an ER patient who was very sick. They discharged him even though he was lethargic and very pale. The young man went to the rest room, and was vomiting up blood. He went back to the admitting desk and was told to check back in. My heart broke for him. As I see it ..double charge to his insurance. Shady hospital, Dr's and especially their Interns.

This is a terrible hospital. Twice I've had bad experiences there and any time you make a complaint and they do an investigation they are obviously never in the wrong. Do not go to this hospital because you might not leave with your life.

Whatever you do avoid doctor Rodríguez in Cardiology. Horrible bed side manner and literally expects you to have all the answers.

Thomas Oconnor | Sep 29, 2019

All I can say is the er is horrible, except for the gentleman at the front desk.

Ember Franklin | Sep 29, 2019
