I used to get a lot of flyers from Consolidated and decided to transfer service from Wave. I was directed to Fidium which was fine until my landlord died and I had to move out of state to afford housing and had to cancel my service. They don’t service Reno Nevada and I was told that I was going to get labels to return the equipment. I was never given the labels even though I called to enquire about it and made sure to update my address. Follow up calls didn’t change anything. The labels never came to this day. I was forced to pay for the equipment when I never had the chance to send them back. The bill was large so I called to ask about it. I was told not to pay the bill and wait for the labels. I called once I recalled my bill was on autopay and the representative assured me I wouldn’t be charged. When the due date came I DID get charged so I called just for the same lady who told me not to worry, tell me “there’s nothing we can do once it’s charged”. I’m going through a financially challenging time because I just moved, had a major surgery 5 weeks ago and still undergoing cancer treatment. I am incredibly frustrated because I’m trying to do everything I can on my end but the customer service people really don’t care at all. In the best case scenario if they do send me the labels, I’ll have to wait them take their sweet time to refund me. I got angry because I took the time to call and try to avoid issues and to no avail.

CCI cable service has been pretty good. Used them as provider for the past 5 years. However tried to return their equipment (router) to them yesterday (July 21, 2022) but office in Roseville, CA is closed and note on door does not have any information about how to do this. Upon calling the customer service number, just directed through phone tree and then disconnected. No option for how to return equipment either. Frustrating. Would have given more stars, but this kind of thing is beyond annoying. Argh.

I switched from xFinity to consolidated because it was about $10 cheaper per month. I was told my plan (which costed extra) got 250mbps and I’m getting at max 40mbps. Early this morning I went to login for work and realized the Internet was down. After calling I was informed that water got into the main server that feeds my area and that it would be fixed soon. The lady said they covered it with plastic but the water still got in. The fact that they knew there was a risk of water getting in and they cut corners with plastic is very disappointing. It’s now been about 17 hours and they said there’s still no estimated time as to when it will be fixed. I had to take the day off work because I work from home and it looks like tomorrow will be the same. Definitely switching back to Comcast XFinity. The one nice thing I have to say about consolidated is it’s so easy to get them on the phone. Takes like 1 minute or less. With Xfinity it literally takes 15-30 minutes just to get through the automated system.

Your remote should have a key that returns you to the guide. Otherwise, try turning off the TV and then on again.

There should be a delete button you press when you want a message deleted. Highlight the question, look for the delete button and press it. If this doesn't work call consolidated communications and they will walk you through it. They can even send someone to your house to show yu how.
Hey Robert, consolidated does offer 1gig service if the house or business has fiber installed. My home has fiber and the 1gig is excellent.

Years ago Surewest did offer mobile service in the Sacramento area. In 2008 they sold their mobile infrastructure to Verizon. Several years later Consolidated Communications acquired Surewest. According to their website Consolidated Communications does not currently offer mobile phone service.

I switched to Dish, as I was having a lot of picel problems with my service. And then it kept going out. After 10 times of them coming out to my home. And they could not find what was wrong and I was paying 189.00 per month. So I switched to Dish, haven't had any problems. And I'm saving 150.00.
