The More You Know
Instead of everybody complaining in the reviews how about you get a job problem solved!!!
Jennifer Monteiro
UPDATE: FINALLY GET A HOLD OF HER, SAYS SHE'LL MAKE THE CHANGES. A WEEK LATER AND STILL NOTHING. I DID MY PART OVER 2 MONTHS AGO. HOW CAN I GET A NEW WORKER????? This place has to be the worst. You make the changes and nothing happens. You call finally reach your worker and she says I'll get to it when I get to it. Now I'm over the 30 days. I'm not sure what can be done at this point. I called this week, still no call back. I'm glad they can put food on their table because I can't at my home.

I have the same problem but you have to keep calling leaving messages..SMH
That is so ridiculous and unprofessional.
Please go! Don't waste ur time calling bc no one picks up the phone and if they, they'll give u wrong information. I know this cluster for 3 years!
I think you do. And to speed up the process you may want to bring id, last 4 consecutive stubs or proof of income if any, proof of living arrangements or rent/mortgage and proof of electric bill. They have same day service if you are willing to wait.
Yes
Yes and they make it so hard. I have been in ga for over two months and my 18 month old daughter is yet to have medicaid. She is now two sets behind on her shots. Gwinnett DCF is a joke and DO NOT care about a childs well being.
Online through ga gateway, or in person at the office
Go into office to make sure what to do.best bet I think
Nope only Lawrenceville
what is the fax number for DFACS I need to fax over m Food Stamp Renewal Form
DFACS IS
Yes.
No go to the vidal record
No I have nothing
Yes , there's a Dropbox there to drop off your paperwork.
They're not fully open. but there's a police officer who can answer questions or show you which forms you need to fill. there's a drop box in front of the office.
Dont know but you can only pick up and drop off applications in a box outside between 8:00am & 4:00pm There is two guards inside for minimum questions.
As far as I know they are. There may be an administrative office you can call over there.
Must make a appointment on line
Yes
Check stubs. Proof of rent and residency. Government ID. If this is your first time social security cards 4 all on application. YOUR mothers maden name your left arm a hoop with fire to jumo through and the patience of Job in the bible. Holy spirit JESUS and the JEHOVAH. OH endurance.
Go to the family and children services they will set you up with food stanps and set you up to get a check for your son if you are not reciving child support.
I found out the system was down!
No, not unless you know someone.
Many times they direct you to online applications; however, they can help you there.
No they can help with giving food. need to try section 8 housing or something similar.
Are you serious? CALL CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES! AND IF ITS LIFE THREATENING CALL 911! What is wrong with the world now a days????
You also can appy online via the website. To see if you qualify for snap. I did this for my grandson online then waited for my over the phone interview.
I agree the ones that need the food stames gets nothing and the leirs gets everything.
You must go in person for proper attention
Go into the office
Depends really, but you need to do your online renewal, and if anything has changed, report the information. You need proof of things like income(paycheck stubs), bills for utilities, things like this.
I really do not know
It is www.gateway.com
They just moved and why bother giving correct information to anyone? You will never get anyone in the phone. In order to talk to someone get in line before they open and sit down to wait.
You have to change your pw every 30 days and never repeat a pw. If it closed you may need to go down there and sit to talk someone.
Vital Records is where you get Birth, Death, Marriage certificates as well
Hello, If you have access to a computer or on a cellphone try going to this address: www.shelterlistings.org. Found this website that lists several resources for individuals who have become homeless. Hope this helps.
Online
I believe you must go on person. Especially because of so much identity theft you will have to show documentation such as an id state issue or driver's license and proof of residency. Best time to go us early as soon as they open.
No norcross office.they moved to lawrenceville.
You would contact caps.
DFACS & AND DFCS is usually the same place The Department of Family and Children Services or Department of Family & Child Services both provide services for families and children in need
You can scan your documents with your phone at home by logging on to your account. Just make sure to screenshot or write down the confirmation number so if they ask you for it you'll have it ready
Go to the board is f dfacs go over them to get right results
All cases usually have a window of 40-60 days. It just depends on how fast they get to your particular case
It's better to go in person and talk to someone. Otherwise, you mite lose your case trying to reach someone.
No dont think so only office in gwinnett county as far as im aware
Online would be best because you can see more than one opinion
If you are in Gwinnett County go the service center. The phone number is hard to get through to.
You will have to get the specific one your case worker uses. It's best to up load your documents to the web. We know how trifling some of these workers are
Best advise is to just Google and call each doctor. Also, when you call, even if the website says that take Medicaid, double check and ask. Sometimes I ask them to run my Medicaid # just to be safe. There is no "list" of Medicaid doctor's...that would be great though!
Yes. She needs to apply and she'll get it too for her and her unborn baby. So all three will get Medicaid as long as she meets the requirements.
You should log on to your gateway account & print off the verification or you could go to your local office & ask for proof....it will be quicker to just log into your account & print it.
18 and up and she can live with family she just has to report her income and what bills she has to pay. They may need a letter just stating that she lives there and that she pays rent if needed
You can scan your information in on the website compass website.
Probably so just maybe later due to weather
No, all goverment offices are closed due to the inclement weather today.
No
New building, much more comfortable, easy to reach, there are always many people, they serve you excellently the staff is very diligent.
Yes you can you would need to have some type of address but if you don't have one you can receive mail at the office
If you are in Gwinnett the office is off hurrican shoals go in and get your application don't do it online they never get back with you that way. They charge 25.00 ifnthenkids are on medicade them is a free application.
Probably not at the DFACS office. I would find what office handles Section 8.
Nothing to apply. But if they need supporting documents they will tell you after they review your information.
