Do u haft to go to the gwinnett county office to get food stamps if you live in gwinnett or can u go to any county office?

Yes and they make it so hard. I have been in ga for over two months and my 18 month old daughter is yet to have medicaid. She is now two sets behind on her shots. Gwinnett DCF is a joke and DO NOT care about a childs well being.

I applied for food stamps for Gwinnett County online, then had a phone interview and filled out paperwork that was mailed to me. You can also go into the DFCS office. To be on the safe side go to the county that you live in because you have to show proof of a bill, something that shows Gwinnett County and that you live there. I have had better luck going in rather than over the phone. They say they will call you back the next day and they do not. So to be on the safe side go to the county you live in.
