The sound in this room is perfect. The food was incredible, and the service just the right level of attentive while being near invisible during the performance to avoid distraction.
For anyone who likes great music and food, this should be an essential part of your visit to New York.

We enjoyed an extraordinary Jazz session, and fantastic cocktails like the Maitay or Margarita, the service was great.
Good day. I am from Argentina. My wife and I will attend on 05/27 at 17:30. The question is if you can attend with casual clothes. That is, denim pants, sneakers, t-shirt and jacket.
From already thank you very much

They're open now and have shows booked all year. Do yourself a favor and get tickets for The Lineup With Susie Mosher if you're here on a Tuesday. I go to almost every show!
whats the line up for tomorrow?

Don't know but check their website.... Always good. I believe theirs always a 20 per person table min but that's allll good.
With restrictions being lifted, is there a date when Birdland will reopen?
My experience was there were two shows. One early, and one later. They cleaned out and reset before the 2nd show started. Big band was upstairs, small group downstairs if I recall.
You pay for the ticket for the act you want to see anywhere from $30 to $50 and then there is a $10 minimum spend at the table. We went to an 8:00 pm show, it finished at 10 pm. If you want to stay for the late show there is no further charge.
This is a review site. You need to call or email Birdland directly for this information

Boys can go even with see three children. Birdland is located on the street 44w, Ilya full time concert, they are wonderful, I think sometimes Ilya concerts early - 18h, the atmosphere is amazing. It is worth it.
Varies, normally from $30 to $50, depending on show: also there's a $10/mininum at tables. Last set each night is 1/2 price if you show a Playbill or ticket from a Broadway or similar show. Bar is usually $20-25 and includes a drink.
When we last went, we had a 17 year-old in our party, and we were fine with table seating. My best guess is that 12 and up would be fine at table seating assuming they were completely quiet, but your best guess will be to contact the establishment ahead of time.
I’m going to NY with my wife who is a very famous actress in PR and I want to know if there any jazz show on sept 8 2018 in order to separate or buy two tickets in a front table. Appreciate your prompt response
The band plays every Friday at 5 pm. Additionally the band is in Residence 2 weeks during the year on the evening Primetime schedule.... July 24th through the 28th and I believe the week between Christmas and New Year's. Tommy Igoe used to sit in with the band and lead it with his charts during those weeks but it is not clear that is happening anymore
Tommy Igoe Birdland Allstar Sextet is playing July 19th through July 21st
Doors open 1 hour before the start of the performance. The price varies according to the artist that is presented, around USD 45. The minimum consumption is 10 USD. They serve dinner from a varied but limited menu, really delicious. The sound and the atmosphere is exquisite, very intimate. A pleasure for all the senses
Sorry could you please restate your question. Birdland opened in Dec 1949 named after Charlie " Bird " Parker. None of his three wives were referred to as Lady Bird nor was his last significant other, Chan Berg. The only Lady Bird on record was wife to President Lyndon Johnson. I have no idea what "Delailah" refers to in relation to Birdland.
The entrance varies according to the artist, I paid 40 for Monty Alexander, and I dined very rich with alcohol and shared dessert for less than 40 dollars including 20% tip.
Very rich food, not worth eating outside
