We were personally taken to Minton’s by one of the managers from Cecil’s, Brian, when he smartly realized the vibe we were looking for. I made the mistake of planning a special birthday dinner during comedy night at Cecil’s (most likely a great time as well). Because of this move, I am SUPER impressed with these restaurants! Besides that, the food and drink were EXCELLENT! And the jazz was fantastic. Great jams, great vibe. Highly recommend.

Minton's was an institution in the field of jazz music; a place where Thelonius Monk or Dizzy Gillespie performed. We didn't have dinner even though the dishes looked tempting. We paid $ 25 admission and saw a concert from 9.30pm to 11pm by a talented jazz player. Good cocktails even though my glass wasn't spotless. I recommend booking to avoid being left without a seat as the place is small. A necessary stop if you are traveling in New York.

L-O-V-E this jazz spot. Great food and great jazz plus the history of all the jazz greats in the air.

I was actually at. CECIL'S. Staff was friendly but service was slow. My family and I sat outdoors. Lobster Ravioli I give 3 out of 5 stars. Not enough lobster and just blah. I've had better. Empanadas were so so. The meat wasn't well seasoned and juicy. Bbq chicken wings were good. Mango margarita was too sweet and not enough alcohol.

Hi! Yes, Minton's Playhouse is wheelchair accessible!
No
I recommend making a reservation for dinner.
It was closed when I went there
You can get the menu online; but like $15 appetizer, entrees in the $20-40 range, and for some music sets there's a per-set music fee. Not bad, given it's NYC, a very nice venue, and great performers!
There is no age requ;irement at the restaurant. Minors can not be at the bar and we do have a quiet policy.
Depends on what day and the size of your Dinner Party ? Give them a call.
No but if you sit close to the stage you will probably hear the music well
