Super fun place and great jazz but definitely over priced and the staff was not very nice.

Yes, go! Amazing jazz. Sit at the bar, bring a friend and stand up and dance. Music is amazing, venue speaks for itself and I was really impressed with the food and drinks. The bartender, Hector, was incredible with recommendations and he knows his music.
Robin
Wuaaaw. Very good band. I was really impressed. Good vibes and atmosphere.

Love Jazz, Love the space……. Post pandemic I have to say it’s horrible customer service - no more live person to make a phone call and make reservations - everything is online…… Went multiple times to the box office window in lower level - staff could care less, reading and book and would not answer my questions and clearly don’t know anything……. Shame on the operator / management

Yes 7 days a week, 2 sets each night.
No toddlers. I have seen kids as young as 8 years old.
Checkout the website, it has the info, for late night.
Late night sessions 11:15
On 60th Street there are two underground parking facilities only a few steps away from Dizzy's
Once a month, on a Saturday, there is a late night dance session at 11:30pm.
There's always a cover, less for the bar stools, and sometimes less for the very late show.
Ben Williams Quintet, comprised of: Ben Williams, bass, vocals, bandleader Julius Rodriquez, piano/keys Jharis Yokley, drums David Rosenthal, guitar Chelsea Baratz, saxophone Syndee Winters, special guest vocalist
Don't know about the tickets sales but there was no smoking
Seems so
Agree with Sunshine Mac. People do celebrate birthdays, etc at Dizzy's so they might be very dressed up.
Yes. Enjoy!! Make reservations
They're always at 730 and 930pm EST. You can also stream some of the shows live online for $10.
Hi, there are two shows tonight: 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm. We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes before.
Visit this website https://www.jazz.org
Ben Wolfe Quintet tonight.
Maybe 100 people? Show started at 6:30/7:00
Try to catch a performance by Sean Jones. Or Michael Rodriguez. Look to see if James Morrison is coming to town....or if your husband likes rock and fusion maybe Randy Brecker is more his style. But you have to find out what kind of trumpet he likes and then look up various people and see when they are performing.
Best to check the website or call them directly to get the most accurate answer.
They start letting people in at 6:00 pm for the first show which is usually at 7:30
Hi! Yes, we have a 9:30 set & a late night set at 11:15. To guarantee entry please make a reservation at jazz.org/dizzys. Please keep in mind there is a music cover charge that varies per night, check the website for up to date details! We hope to see you soon.
Look at https://www.jazz.org/dizzys/
Hi Robert! Our nightly sets start at 7:30pm & 9:30pm. We recommend arriving 30 minutes early to get preferred seating (Table or Bar). Also, be sure to make a reservation at jazz.org/dizzys. We hope to see you soon!
Hi Cathy! Yes, there is a set at 7:30pm & 9:30pm on October 6th. We hope to see you soon.
Today is not Sunday 4!
Two show's 7:30 and 9:30. Reservation is recommended but sometimes you can be on standby.
Not to my knowledge. Juilliard band jazz session late-night Saturdays.
When I went there, i went in the middle of the show. But in the front, they don't check your age. If u don't drink alcohol, then it'll be fine
You have to ask for a drink and if you want a table you have to have dinner.
Yes is open all year
Just go into the web. There arent tickets. You only have to book if you want at the bar or at the restaurant. With your meal (at the table) or with your drink ( at the bar ) you pay a plus for the entrance. So it will depend on what do you want
I would highly recommend it, especially for the earlier show or any weekend show
There is but you can use it to buy a drink and they have nice cocktails
Black leather tall chairs quite nice w/ good view of the stage. The place is pretty classic (and classy), w/ the ambience of the 1930s speak easies minus the cigar smoke.
No, they are jazzsession, enjoy jazz, a good dinner accompanied by great drinks.
Hi ... Don't know. Please contact Dizzy's directly. I am just a music lover who visited Dizzys and wrote a review. Have a nice day.
After the 9 pm set, normally around 10:30/11 but the line starts forming before then
Yes
Yes
This establishment provides life jazz music mainly for adult consumption. The other patrons would definitely not appreciate the attendance of young children.
Yes, visiting the bar is fine while listening to jazz. Dinner is optional
