The flea market is free and the parking is free I went to the state fair three years ago and it cost me $8 to get in sometimes they have car shows there about shows I never went to them but there is a fee to go in and see those events

Haven't seen it this year. I do know some vendors went out of business having to wait out Covid shut downs. Maybe another vendor will pick it up and make it for next year or even put a new spin on it. You can never go wrong with adding bacon 🥓 to anything 😆.

There are so many to choose from that you can choose from the tallest that drops ya to one that spins to slow carousel so go with your heart and just have fun or get a wrist band and ride them all for $35.

They let our 17 month old ride for free with a paying adult. But when he rode with his sister who had a wristband, we had to pay the tickets for him to ride.

I think there is. For every ride, they have a long sign that says things about the age limit, weigh limit, "Don't go on the ride if you have the following", etc.

The state fair is two weeks in October. The rest of the year is the flea market weekends, and outbuildings in use for events. You just do a search on 'nc state fairgrounds', check the monthly calendar if any doubt.

Are there strollers for rent? Yes, there are stroller and child’s wagon vendors set up at Gates 1, 8, 9 and 10. All strollers and wagons are first-come, first-serve. Mobility Concepts LLC at Gates 1 and 10 is accepting reservations on their website. Fun-Rider Rentals at Gates 8 and 9 is accepting reservations on their website.  The vendor will take a deposit of collateral such as cash, a driver's license or car keys.   See the Accessibility page for more information.
