I adopted my bunny "Lola" from BCAS two months ago. He was already neutered and was very docile. He was introduced to me by a very knowledgeable Volunteer who also told me how to take care of rabbits and what to feed him. Lola has been an absolute joy to me and my husband. He loves running and binkying in my apartment. He has never bit us or anyone and loves pets. This review is to thank all the members of BCAS for taking care of Lola and other animals so well. They are also very knowledgeable and polite with visitors. It is your hard-work and dedication that most of the animals find their forever homes.

Do NOT surrender your animal or bring a rescue here. They WILL euthanize the animal. My cousins lost dog was brought here and In less than a week they had euthanized him! She was devastated. 1 My mother's 10 year old cat was brought here a week ago and they made ZERO effort to check missing pet posts, groups or flyers (she had posted everywhere). They wouldn't even let my father see the cat to confirm it was ours and he had already paid $100. This place needs to be shut down. Do not bring pets here!

An update on Jordan. We had to put our baby down. He was sick but by the time we figured it out he was too far gone. He didn't show any signs, remained friendly and living the whole time. We found Jordan's aka Big Head picture on here back in March and set up a meet and greet. He looked like a small dog which is what we agreed on but when we met he wasn't so small, however; it was love at first sight. Our first adopted fur baby, best decision we could've made

Call the shelter and ask for help. They have a feral cat trapping program and people who can assist.
Just leave them an anonymous note. Be polite. Sometimes people are just oblivious, they are not always trying to be rude. Let them know that it is bothering you. And ask if they wouldn't mind picking up. Even leave them some doggie bags.
They spay or neuter and provide all shots for like $25. You drop off in the morning and pick up that afternoon. Thanks for being a responsible pet owner. Who wouldn't love their dog to have mini-let's, but for every pup born an existing dog will suffer or be put down.
Yes but if you aren't an experienced pet owner, you have a lot to consider. Dogs can live over 15 years. Are you prepared for that commitment? Are you financially prepared to handle not just the cost of ownership but emergency medical expenses that could run thousands? Do you own your home? If not, will you take the dog if you move? Did you get landlord approval? How much time will the dog be home alone? If you answered no to even one question, maybe fostering a dog would be better for all involved. Dogs worlds revolve around their owner. If you abandon them, you break their heart. I am not trying to discourage you, it's so worth everything you go through. Just be prepared so you can be part of the solution instead of someone dropping the same dog back at the shelter in a year, or 5 years, or even 10 years.
Very friendly employees, but you must live in Baltimore county to give it to them. They must check your ID card or your driver's license. To make sure
Awww Christopher I know you love and treat her great and she loves you too I'm not sure why but I think it has to do with her hormones before I had my 1 year cat Phoebe spayed she had those same issues however since she's had her spay surgery in April shes so much sweeter and calm... the, this shelter does discounted spay and neuter surgery for county residents give them a call Everyone is very kind and helpful I just adopted my Newest Furbaby Pheona Butterfly from them last week... I wish you and your Furbaby the best
contact Baltimore County Animal Shelter
they dont use it for the animal condos but their TNR program will use it
Call them at 410-887-PAWS
Call the local shelter/animal control and ask about the noise policy. They should be able to help and possibly take care of it.
Animal control does not respond to native wildlife calls. You need to contact MD DNR or a private pest removal service.

Yes you have to call the local city office to make a complaint
Yes, I would give them a call. We had a family of raccoons in our back yard. They will set up traps and take them to a safe environment.
I would call them and ask them! I don't know if they offer anything like this! You can always look online check out the Facebook marketplace! How big of a doghouse do you need? Is this for a dog that is an inside-outside dog, or is the dog strictly an outside dog? 🐕 Good luck on your hunt for a dog house! 🐕
Baltimore County animal services on manor rd will take your cat
I don't think they pick them up but you can take your surrender surrender there. I'm not sure if they help out with food and things but they might.
Yes, if the animal has been there for awhile they will sent to another shelters adoption event and things like that to try and find the fur babies their fur-ever homes.
Yes
Try bribing with wet food while you pet, to help her associate the good feeling with both. Then try different kinds of petting to see how she reacts. Some cats only like head & chin scratches. Some only like to be stroked down their backs, and find ruffling their fur back up to be uncomfortable. Try "petting" with a brush, because some cats like the scratchy stimulation. Also try just holding her with your hand on her, to see if she likes cuddles, but not petting. It's also possible that she may not like any petting, but might want different interaction, like playing, or just talking to her. Keep loving her, and good luck!
I'm sure you can call the shelter directly and make a donation
It does cost at a vet; $100-150 is my experience. This is for the shot that stops their heart. You can also obtain your pets ashes if you wish at an added cost. If you take to the pound, they may not charge you. To my knowledge, they will mass gas animals. In either case, call and you will get the info you need.
Our dog was taken and when we got her home she wasn't able to stand/walk properly. Probably because she was crammed in a small kennel and she's a large boxer. We had to massage her hip n take her to the vet to get muscle relaxers to help her along.
Yes
Offer water when you have time to walk him later. For example: when u wake up give him water, then before you leave the house let him outside. I also train puppies with a pee pad (just one) leave it out so then if you catch him in the act you can set him on it. Pad location is important too keep it in one spot.
Yes.....I am pretty sure they do.
They will not help you. All they will do is tell you to trap the cat. If you trap it and bring it in they will level fines against the owner if they can find them if they cannot find the owner they will likely put the cat to sleep. Leave the cats alone.
They close at 5 on Sat and Sun and some holidays. They are open until 6 Mon thru Fri
Department of Natural Resources Officer
Call Animal Control and let them know
I'm not sure about specific shots like that but they offer a spay/nueter service that includes all boosters for $20.
Yes. Ring the doorbell (to the right of the glass doors) and a security guard or staff member will greet you
By law, you have 24 hours to surrender an animal to Baltimore County Animal Services. They will scan for a microchip to attempt to reunite with the owner. He will then have a stray hold and if the owner doesnt claim, will be placed for adoption
You need to call animal control, where you got the micro chip.
Hello there, You may surrender any animal any time. But try reaching someone who cares about the animals first... Like, B.A.R.C.S In, Baltimore City, behind the ravens stadium... Be good, Be safe, God bless
Cant catch them
Good evening, As of this early afternoon no she has not been... But hurry & if she is, they are many more to choose from... Stay warm... God bless...
Shelter can lend a cage to catch cat. Call about thrir trap neuter release prog and see if that is what you want.
In this cold temperatures, 10 - 15 minutes just to go to the bathroom... Maybe 10-20 minutes if you are playing with and or walking the canine companion...
The staff can definitely help you out with that. They are very knowledgeable and very friendly
To BCAS. Baltimore County Animal Services. Located on Manor Rd in the Jacksonville area. Northern Baltimore County.
Call Baltimore County animal services and they will pick it up
Yes call your local animal shelter and they can call them or send them a letter but yeah they will definitely handle it. And you don't have to give your name or anyting but yet if the weather is really bad or end the dog is barking all the time then you know maybe they need to step in. I have three dogs of my own and I would never leave them out like that.
Normally 72 hours
Call your local animal shelter and they can call them or send them a letter.
You have to call. This is a kill shelter so if you don't see her let's hope she was adopted.
You will have to call DNR
What were circumstances? Whose property? How bad were her injuries? Did you see it happen? Did you go to hospital?
You have to call obviously theyre too understaffed. Next time google Phoenix Wildlife Rescue and leave a message for Kathy or keep calling. She will tell you all you need to know.
The fox will not hurt your dogs or your cats. Look it up.
I think $20 including all shots.
Raccoons are rabies carriers! Do not confront them! You need to call the Baltimore County Animal Services and speak with the rabies specialist. Also, get trash cans with lids that are difficult for rodents to get into. They will move to easier dinner options.
What? Whose are they?
Where's the dog now? Call police next time. Or call me.
They don't do network except shots if and only if your pet is being fixed at the time. Is she okay?
So sorry for your loss. I have 2 beagles and it is a wonderful breed. Hope you found the services you required.
Used to.
