Filthy, disgusting place. Please rescue these poor animals! Inhumane living conditions. They deserve better.

Clean facility and pleasant staff.

We went there looking for a dog to adopt. The staff was so amazing and very friendly as soon as we found the dog we wanted they made the adoption process so easy and smooth we were in and out within 30mins after finding are new fur-baby.

Wayne county ani.al shelter. Will come pick him. Up. They have a really nice place
You have to call and schedule
Pets at the shelter in Goldsboro
I'm sure you can, there may be a nursing cat there that will accept it or there may be a rescue they can contact.
If you are renting, you will need to contact your landlord for approval. Other than that, money and your driver's license.
The shelter does not spay and neuter personal cats, only those adopted from there. SNAP spays/ neuters for $90. This includes shots. Riverbank Animal Hospital in Kinston has a financial assistance program for those who qualify. They handle this themselves.
Yes there is a fee. Call the shelter and they will give you exact pricing for the pet you are wishing to adopt.
I believe
Ur local pound
There's a pet rescue center in Goldsboro
Should be answering machine when they are closed, but you can always call when they are open
All but 9 cats. Yes it is an open intake facility .
None that I know of.I thinks she wants somebody to watch her dogs like babysitting
I don't think this site is actually managed by shter employees.
Wayne county shelter has a few puppies up for adoption. Their fee is $65 and it covers shots and spay/neuter.
As of yesterday yes but idk about today and beyond plz call them
You pick the dog you want, fill pit paperwork, the shelter will give you a day to come back for your pet(spay/neutering is performed) and you pay when you pick the pet up
They get dogs from various situations. And dont. Bring them in based on size when we went looking they only had two small dogs both already taken. But their. Dogs. Are likley to change week by week
Pets at the shelter. They take in animals and it's a no kill shelter. The staff are very nice and helpful.
I am not an employee but Ivolunteer at the shelter. To answer your question... where do you suggest they keep all these animals that the county residents keep bringing in? The shelter has only so many kennels available. Until the public takes responsibility for their pets shelters have no choice but to make room for incoming animals. You cannot force rescues to pull or adopters to adopt. You can ask for the records if you like . Contact the shelter and ask.
Highly doubtful considering the roads are flooded. No way to contact to find out.
Not sure. Call the shelter and ask to speak with the manager and let them know your interest or ask them do they know of a shelter that has a foster program. Good luck Thanks for sharing and caring
Yes they accept strays. Keep in mind the shelter may be at capacity and if so risk of euthinazition may be high
Good day I'm not sure I'm from New York I have family in North Carolina I was looking for a small dog you can call the pet shelter and they will be more informative good luck
Yes you could volunteer but would need to be accompanied by an adult and go to volunteer orientation after you fill out a paper to volunteer. Hope that helps.
