Great place to adopt pets. The staff cares so much about there visitors and show so much empathy when you surrender a pet. Bobby, is an incredible asset to this company as well as Heather and the rest of the staff. Thank you for making this experience and transition easy and kind. This place gets 5 stars from me and my family.

This place is a joke !!! I’ve never seen more incompetent people in my life. Except maybe another government entity!!! Our home burned down and some cats have taking up residence on our property we’ve been trying for three years to get these people out there and now they’re telling us all of a sudden that they don’t pick up animals anymore you would think they would’ve told us that three years ago when we first started trying to get them out there think about it three years but I’m going to find out who it is that is over this place if I have to write my congressman or whatever I have to do give her doll saying that you couldn’t be voted in to be a dog catcher well that’s these people they shouldn’t even be in there

I signed the ladies there that was there a very compassionate about what they do try to find the perfect rehome for the ones that had to be surrendered so that was surrendered may not have been by owner's choice but other circumstances I thank them for what they do

The employees with YCPD have no clue how to protect or care for animals. I have lots of videos proving this and soon, they will be released.

want to make appointment to see dogs on Fri. oct.22 2021.
I picked up a puppy from the shelter in York and the puppy was in good shape. She had her first shots and had been micro chipped.
This is what I do not understand. My dogs do not run loose they are eaither inside or outside in a fenced yard, but if times are tough now the shelter well not help you with food if your pet is not spayed an nutered an has rabies shots. You know I just think it's easy that if people are struggling to point they need help. That just because they haven't done those things that someone who gets dogfood donated to them that the animal shelter won't help people who need help with food for there animals. That's just crazy.
The only thing animal control well do to help you catch a wild cat or pet cat is they bring a cat catching cage for you to set out an you catch them.
I believe so
Yes. They do.
They will come out and put trap's if you call them
You have to go and put a application in and I think you have to pay a application fee I'm not sure but that is what I thought I could be wrong
If you have pictures with you and him together that might work take the to the shelter
Go to website petharbor.com and you will be able to see all the dogs they have available hun
Yes. 77 for either cat or dog. I did see that during the month of December, it's $20 for black and white cats!
Closed on Sunday
There are several rescues in York County. Google cat rescues in York County.. If you can't find anyone to take them, you can do an owner surrender at the shelter..
Okay thanks you
You must have an intake appointment and this is a kill shelter.
A few weeks ago they did not, but they get new dogs all the time
Should be able to
