Worst rental car place ever!!!

It was not the best experience. The type of car I booked was not available. I accepted the only one they had, it was dirty and smelled strongly of cigar and marijuana.

Quick and efficient service ... deposits are certainly more reasonable than the airport at $200. Service agents are always friendly and helped me out with a past reservation where I mistakenly used another pick-up location but needed another car on the spot. They fixed it instead of making me drive across town (which would have been well within their right) and I was able to get the car there.

Easy collection for us - short Uber ride from sapphire falls - 5 mins. Lovely warm welcome from the guy on the desk- quick paperwork & out to the car in 10 mins. Clean, tidy car. Dropped off at Melbourne airport - easy to find car lot. Quick check in

You can always change with a fee for an upgrade. Better yet, you can deny the pick up given to you and told them to give you something else in the same category you initially rented since inventory changes daily. You're not required or expected to accept what they initially offer. Budget has the obligation to give you a similar car in the same category or upgrade you for free or refund you. Hope that helps.
