Maybe a good place to detox cause it’s nice and clean, however the treatment is subpar at least. Got nothing from the classes. And their aftercare program is a joke. It’s more like a prison halfway or something in the hood with security guards. They say that 14 days is the average stay there. I can see why. Much better treatment facilities Available.

was very understaffed and i did not see my therapist or my case manager for the first 9 days i was there and had to beg to receive services that my insurance was paying for. however the therapists were always helpful and caring especially erik and dave. brittany in the business office was horrible to deal with and extremely unprofessional with the comments she made to me. also while i was there on multiple occasions a man would walk into my room while i was sleeping and stare at me.

I am the brother of the patient, and the one who is paying the bills for his treatment. I do not feel like I got my money’s worth. My brother contracted COVID while at your facility, and was placed in isolation with other patients who were also positive. Not only were they not able to attend sessions, because the equipment provided was sub par, this was never addressed by the staff. There are also not enough staff members for the patient load the facility has, and even staff there encouraged my brother to speak up about it. He is planning of filing a complaint about this issue. My brother also did not receive the level of care/resources he needed to be successful after leaving treatment. Due to this failure in care, he was drinking within 24 hours of returning home, and within 6 days of returning home he totaled my mother’s car, and was arrested on a DWI. He is currently still drinking daily and has stated that he did not leave there with any resources to help him stay sober

Cashmer, The sarcastic comments I just read to reply to your question are uncalled for. I've struggled for most of my life with addiction. It's worth a phone call to discuss options with desert hope. I detoxed here about a year ago with Medicaid. This is more of a mental health program. Most people I met had thoughts of hurting themselves or others. I was kinda like an outsider looking for help with addiction. They also didn't really have any helpful advice for what to do after the 4 days. I would recommend looking elsewhere. Westcare detox center is terrible, but the programs after are pretty good. If you are looking for a 90 day program there is a government grant that westcare gets called SAPTA. They ran out of money in may, but I believe the funding was re-establish in October. Make some phone calls
Did that happen?
We accept a wide network of different insurance plans and we also offer out of pocket direct financing. Please contact our billing office at Desert Hope for specific details surrounding your individual situation.

I don't understand the question
Our first responder program "Battalion" is amazing. Video testimonials from actual patients will be posted soon. Feel free to come down for a face to face visit with our Therapists that run the program.
When i went in they gave me the workbook for first responders. I did find it rather helpful to be honest. Im not ALWAYS "on duty" now. Just like with anything they will teach you at DH. If you dont use it, it wont work. There are several different techniques they can teach you for combating the PTSD that comes along with being a first responder aswell. When i went in DH was about getting clean and that there is hope and a good life if you stay clean. While the IOP program they offer after your stay at DH is really where you get down to the underlying problems of why soneone turned to drugs in the first place. And about combating those thoughts and feelings and treating the issues. And of course the big key..... STAYING CLEAN. Much love and respect for DH and AAC. This place helped me save my life. I was a methhead for 14 years .... Now i have 2 years and 3 months clean. Its a battle to save our lives. And its well worth it!
