This place saved my life. The staff here are incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and intuitive about addiction as well as the needs of the clients. They are willing to work with the individual needs of each client through counseling, individualized therapy, and 24 hour medical staff that monitor clients throughout the detoxification process and attend to any needs/medication management the same day for each client. They encourage connection between the clients that creates a strong fellowship and open, safe environment to discuss the real roots of our addiction and lead the clients in finding the answers themselves to stimulate growth instead of just giving them the answer. While I did not want to be here initially, the spectacular staff showed me why I needed to be here and taught me the skills to live life on my terms and how to cope with previous trauma.

A good start would be to change the cannabis the person is smoking. Today, they use a bunch of chemicals in the weed and on the plant (GMO’s). The your son isn’t exactly addicted to the cannabis, he is addicted to the chemical in the weed. His brain and body is starting to crave the chemical and the brain knows it’s on the weed! Once he finds. Lean weed, he can then make a plan to quit smoking cannabis. I would suggest leaving the country or state to where people don’t smoke weed or have access to it. This way he doesn’t pick up on the vibrations people send out to each other! ✌🏼
