Waited about 4 hours before getting inside, but got dinner in served inside the holding tank. Staff at night seemed stressed and a lot of people moving everywhere while we sat with others in one place. One guy was sleeping in the lobby chair and apparently it was his bed for the night. Not sure how that is private but it was busy. The ambulance was leaving people at the door and just driving off while the person found a place on the floor to sleep.

Newer, non-smoking, handicap accessible, secure, short term drug & alcohol detox facility. First came through in 2016, when it first opened, on my way to a 90 day Westcare residential program. Now I have 4.5 years clean and sober. I visit monthly to speak to clients about getting recovery, because this is where my new life first began, and I am grateful. It is what you make it. Staff works very hard, and will help you with many resources for recovery. But you have to ask!

Worst place to go for opiate detox/withdrawal. They give you a cheap knock off of subutex and it's a low dose so it doesn't take your pain away..it doesn't make anything stop or feel less horrible. You seriously are better off detoxing cold turkey in jail. At least then your body goes into shock nd you don't feel your body dying. But anyways, this place is truly for the "hardcore, last chance or else" type people. If you have no money. no way to get suboxone or methadone..then this place will help the addict in need. It'll provide you with food nd a bed. But if you can't stand pain. Don't go here..

HowdyMichael. Westcare CTC is primarily a Detox facility. There is a newer (typically) 30 day Partial Hospitalization Program here and/or 90 day outpatient program in the attached bldg. Also there are 90 day Westcare residential programs (in and near LV, segregated by gender). First, you would set up an evaluation appt. nextdoor at Westcare CIC and choose a program that works for you based on availability. These programs are not substance specific, they are not technically rehab, U do not emerge "cured", it is basically behavior modification. U get the tools U need to begin a clean and sober life, what U do with em' is up to U. I graduated men's Westcare HSR residential program outta jail about 3 years ago, after 38 years on stimulants and, after one relapse, I now have 32 months clean. It's totally worth it if you listen, utilize and apply what the programs teach you. These are good and caring folks. They will help with insurance hook ups, courts, & doctors. God Bless and good luck.

Are you allowed to get physicals done here

Basically this is an opiate and alcohol detox center, where patients are kept for a few days until their vitals are stabilized. So I suppose the answer would be no. No physicals given here. Good luck Frank.
