It was our first time in this fabulous place we loved it. Direct contact with nature for us lovers of nature and God's creation.. We will absolutely be visiting this place next year.

This was my first time camping and it was a horrible experience. Portajohns ran out of toilet paper and never replenished although staff members were told 2 times and dismissed to nothing be done about. Showers were filthy disgusting. Slanted sites, and large rocks.

I am bemused at the volume of people who ask these types of questions from the general public (us), instead of the folks who operate the place. To even post a question on this part of the website, don't you have to click through the website that actually runs the place and is chartered/licensed to have and provide this type of information as a common public service? I've seen: "How late are they open?", "Can I bring my dog?", "Do they sell food?", "How many sites are available?" Dude, it's LABOR DAY WEEKEND...asking these questions on Saturday...wow! What are you thinking? Am I wrong for thinking this? I just don't understand the value of asking fellow consumers for their ideas and conclusions when the actual operators are readily available, informative, friendly and helpful. Am I missing something?
2 pets allowed per site. Must be up to date on shots. Must fill out pet certification form. You can go to www.bound4burlingame.com and print out that form. All sites are curreny open. I believe there are no restrictions BUT check the RI travel guidelines
Go on Reserve America, if all booked, cancelations usually come in. Wandering Labs is a site that contacts you when sites come available.
Below response is accurate just spent a week there. They did add each person who was supposed to be at campground on each vehicle pass but they never checked names just vehicles. If it was overkill they might question it. Hope that helps. Beautiful park but very busy on weekends. Long lines to get into beaches on the weekend. Weekdays were perfect at park and beaches.
