There are more sites. you go there and they have some sites in the 800. But its first come first serve. No reservations for those.. we did that. Not bad areas..we had 3 tents there. Had a great time too.
Many sites will appear always once there because of a mininum booking rule that makes campers book 4 nights even if they only stay 2. Just keep checking reserve america for availibilty and cross reference to videos from bound4burlingame to see what the site looks like. I just showed up last week they said there was only one left it was a cramp site 404. But as we walk around there was alot of empty
Honestly, if you want to book at Burlingame, book a year in advance
You would have to call Burlingame. However this is one of the busiest times there
