Below response is accurate just spent a week there. They did add each person who was supposed to be at campground on each vehicle pass but they never checked names just vehicles. If it was overkill they might question it. Hope that helps. Beautiful park but very busy on weekends. Long lines to get into beaches on the weekend. Weekdays were perfect at park and beaches.
They have a no visitor rule for this summer but u could park some where else an have them pick u up should be good that way
