Beautiful temple! If you are ever feeling stressed or down just come here, bring a journal and journal. Come to the lord with your thoughts and feelings and he will answer you. Whether you are lds or not, you come here, just still think and feel peace, walk the grounds and enjoy the moment youre in, or if you are having a hard one and its hard to feel or understand the lesson just pray. Know you are not alone

It is amazing what the old tabernacle has become. This is a great place to come and be quiet even if you are not going into the temple itself. Come and enjoy this little spot of peace and beauty in downtown Provo.

Beautiful temple along with the surrounding landscape. A fun place to go walk around with your family. The grounds are open to the public to do so. The historic building is one to admire. The interior is beautiful in every way.
Christian Nicholas
I love this temple. The interior feels like a more modern version of the Manti temple. Not only that, but it is well planned for it's place in the middle of a city. As a note: it does have a bike rack in the underground parking garage.

Joy, sessions are on the hour from 6a to 8p. Excluding Sundays and Mondays.
Candice, YES, it's down stairs; in the parking garage. And as others have remarked, in several other locations as well.
Hi Gary, No, this temple does not have food service. So many great places to eat on the block though! Try any one of them (eats and sweets and treats); I've not been disappointed. If you enjoy, celestial, temple food, try The Provo Temple. Also, BYU campus has many food opportunities, but as i said before, there are oh soo many choices, in every flavor and variety; within a hop, skip, and jump...
Yes but you can't go into the actual temple (unless you're a temple recommend carrying Mormon but then you probably wouldn't ask :) you can also get a free book of mormon in the separate area. In Spanish Fork is the Krishna Temple that the Mormon church helped to build, there I believe you can get a full tour and some nice ethnic food at the end of the tour. (see their website)
Hi Daniel Yes, clothing rental is available, but there is no cafeteria...
If it's for proxy work for the deceased, then sessions are first come first serve. Sessions are Tuesday-Saturday and start every hour bringing at 6am and ending at 7pm. Sometimes if the 7pm session is full on Friday or Saturday night they'll will have an 8pm session, but that is not on the schedule.
Elizabeth, Yes. Underclothing for all, up to XXXXL, is provided, upon request.
Yes! One of the most beautiful!! Take a friend! However, Matthew has a good point; it is not a formal center, and is realy just for visitors in waiting.
Check the lds tools app. Should be some info there.
You have to be a member to go in the temple.
Yes
Yes, no appointment is necessary.
If there is one at 6, but I don't remember if it is in the morning or afternoon. All the information appears on the temple site.
Yes. The Temple schedule is listed on the website for the Temple.
Parking garage entrance is the direct same level approach. This is on the south side of the temple.
Yes, "lots" of parking. South of the temple. A huge lot under the temple amd several street locations all around the temple..
Yes, Shara, you can make appointments. However, contact the temple recorder, as most workers are unaware of it or how to do it, since they typically serve on a weekly basis and do the assignments asked of them. And, be prompt! Let them know exactly how many people, amd still expect to wait.
Hi Nikki, Great question! They provide a nursery for little ones only when the children will be part of the sealing experience. Otherwise, grandma'ville!
Hi Geraldine, The temple facilities are closed on Sundays, but I believe you can walk the grounds.
Give the Temple a phone call. They will do it for you
The grounds are closed right now. I did see security allow a mom and her son in to take pictures a couple months ago (during the summer). So maybe ask security while you're there if there's any way you could. :) Good luck!
We did not require a wheel chair, however I did observe one parked in a room as you enter. Be aware you'll park in the underground parking lot, and enter through the underground entrance. You can call and they will advise on the wheel chair.
You're welcome to visit the grounds when they open back up, and there's a beautiful visitor's center with a life-size statue of the Christus, but entry is limited to faithful members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who live up to its precepts.
Yes stairs and an elevator
I believe it's $3-$5 to rent everything. That is about what it costs at other temples. I hope that helps.
I'm not sure if the above can, but I think it might, I would call the temple directly and ask they are wonderful people and I'm sure they have an answer
No If you ever want to know if a temple will be open you can look at it's website. Here is the one for Provo City Center: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/temples/details/provo-city-center-temple?lang=eng
Saturday mornings and afternoons are busy. Later afternoon and evenings are better.

Here you may find the official closure dates: Sunday, 23 June 2019 - Saturday, 6 July 2019 Wednesday, 24 July 2019 https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/temples/details/provo-city-center-temple?lang=eng
There's an entrance in the underground parking you can pull right up to, and there are elevators throughout the building.
Yes they need to know so they can plan for the number of people at the ordinance
Usually 8pm, but check on their website for the specific date you want to go.
Technically, no. I don't think anyone will stop you if you sneak it in, but it's still discouraged.
About 50, but they will squeeze more in.
No they don't. However the Temple does have umbrellas for rain or snow.
The Provo City Center Temple will be closed December 4th to the 17th
Ask directory assistance
The earlier you can get there, the better. Our YM and YW always try to get there before 5 p.m.; it seemed like it started getting lots busier around 5. (We go on Wednesdays.)
If you come in the main doord by the underground parking, the regulart recommend desk is straight ahead; the baptristy recommend desk is to the right side of the regular recommend desk.
I recommend that you check out the church's website.
YES, to Q1; Yes/No to Q2. Hi Roxie, Just walk in... Do initiatory service as long as you desire, then attend the next endowment session. On some occasion, take an ancestor, do baptismal and confirmation service, then initiatory, then endowment, then sealing... All in the same day! You will have the most amazing experience!
The latest that you can do baptisms is 8 PM, but it's not on the dot and they usually continue about 10 minutes past.
They have them every hour, on the hour. So be sure to give yourself enough time to arrive and prepare for the session.
You can always check LDS Tools
Hi Terry Sessions are every hour, on the hour, from 6a to 8p. Excluding Sundays and Mondays.
President Ostergard
Hi Glenda, There is so much parking under and around the temple. Other businesses and street parking. Still, you want to arrive in time to find just the right one.
I'm sorry I do not know. Please call the Temple for that information. Thank you.
Every hour on the hour from 6 AM to 8 PM
