Yes, Shara, you can make appointments. However, contact the temple recorder, as most workers are unaware of it or how to do it, since they typically serve on a weekly basis and do the assignments asked of them. And, be prompt! Let them know exactly how many people, amd still expect to wait.

Yes! I called a month beforehand to make an appointment for baptisms and was told that this temple does not do reservations. However, when I got there, there were several groups who had reservations. I asked the temple workers about this and they told me to ask for the recorders office to make appointments. Additionally, they told me to make the reservations the week of.
