I love coming to this park. I bring my dobie with me and he enjoys it as well (must be leashed). It’s all nature beautiful; lots of birds, plants, trees to admire. The trail is perfect for a stress relieving walk or getting a nice workout (it has some nice inclines). There are multiple entrances to the creek which my dobie loves to go in and get refreshed. There is a small playground next to a shelter which has some tables. It’s very peaceful and I highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for a relaxing time.

Great place for a relaxing walk. It's a short walk but it does have some decline and of course incline on the way back up. But is a complete circle and takes you down by a small but clear river with multiple lookouts before bringing you back around to the wildflower park and Leave a book Take a Book library or the parking lot.

Questions & Answers

Once opon a time, someone told me about a creek in G'ville where you could find sharks' teeth. Don't know how shark teeth could get this far inland. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Yes, we took our class this year and did in fact find shark's teeth.

Where do you park? How do you get in? Google maps keeps directing me to someone's house. :(

I would like to find a couple fossil shark teeth with my kids. I read this would be a good place to hunt but I'm not sure where to go specifically. Can anybody give me an idea where to go?

If you take your first left (just before the playground) the trail will take you down to the water and you can follow it alongside the creek all the way to 16th ave. Along the trail you can find several places for shark tooth hunting. Some places have deeper and faster moving water so you'll want to find a spot that works for your kids' ages. It's helpful to bring something to sift through the sand if you have it, but not necessary.
