Great little family vacation that exceeded my expectations. Stayed 2 nights with my family of 6, with children ages 2 through 15. Lots of fun on the slides and in the wave pool. Food and cleanliness met our expectations. Arcade and claw machines made a nice break from the water. We plan to return!!

Well worth the visit. We go every 6 months and the kids love it. Although everything isn't open when we go, which is kind of a bummer. We have older kids and a younger one and there isn't much for him to do because they usually only have 1 young kid part open at a time. So sometimes it's challenging to keep him occupied as he's too young for almost all the stuff. 4+ seems to be a better age to take kids. The other kids can ride and do everything by themselves which is nice. Never gone when the outside park is open so can't review that, and never done the arcade, golf, etc. We literally go for the indoor water park and that's it! We never ate there or bought food. We get a suite with friends and order pizza from down the street and bring food for the room. A cheap trip during colder months!

Our bathroom light took forever to come on, our tv didn’t work, our shower had no pressure and the cap was off of it at the wall, and our window leaked. We also had to ask for blankets. Our second night out of 4 we had people in our hallway at 2:30 am yelling waking everyone up. We called and asked them to come take care of it. We ended up having to call a second time and they finally came and removed several people who were not staying there. Then came directly to our door and accused us of telling the desk we would take care of it ourselves( literally would have been 5 of us against like 30 people). The whole point in calling was to let them take care of it. But I guess when you try and be a good person they frown upon that. Water park was nice! Staff for most part were very nice. Wouldn’t recommend staying maybe just visiting the water park. I won’t ever go back I’ll spend my money elsewhere.
The Center of The Circle
I've been coming here for years. All the way back to 2013. I rarely write reviews but I had to speak on this. The quality of this place has really declined since my last stay in 2019. While the new restaurant and new arcade games are nice and an upgrade every part of our trip felt like new management trying to penny pinch. Lockers used to be free. They now want $25 PLUS for one. Resort fee used to be half of the price they are now. The sheets, and I'm not kidding, felt like sleeping on paper towels. And I payed double what I normally paid pre 2019 for my stay. I still enjoyed myself because it's a nice resort, but a message to management, be careful with focusing on bottom line. You might be trading profits for loyalty.

If you order online: (Cheapest) $75 All day pass $35 if height under 42" $20 Locker rental Price can go up if you try to buy tickets online last minute. This is if your just going to water park. Better deal comes with package but overall price much more.
I’ve been there plenty of times and never seen bed bugs or roaches either!
Masks are required everywhere except the waterpark areas, and dining/bar areas.
Yeah that arcade is so big you can get lost in it
And I don't blame ya one bit especially after lastnight reservation through priceline for a room overnight n I'm still in the cold as we speak no answer from them or Super8 establishment first n last time for either!!.
They have plenty of bars and restaurants. I don't know of Kalahari is a great destination for a romantic honeymoon unless you like being surrounded by children and families. It's entirely your choice but you could somewhere a lot better with the same amount of money spent.
Shouldn't be all that busy being the last week
I don't know if you can ride the slides if you are visibly pregnant... and I think you have to avoid the hot tubs as well which would leave you the wave pool and lazy river... it is pretty packed with kids though so if your babymoon idea is relaxing and romantic... this probably isn't the place... but just depends what you are looking for. The rooms are decent enough and the bathtubs in the room are huge... not jacuzzi or anything but in my opinion big enough for two people.
No you don't need to call them as you would get 4 passes as wrist band as per room size or family size even though you booked for 3 persons in reservation. Reservation counter at entrance is friendly and huge. It went well for us and we were left with 1 spare pass.
Kids can rent or biy mermaid bottoms and swim with them on
First You would need to get a visa so you can come here. Once that was approved you would need to plan transportation and book your stay accordingly. You can go to Kalahari's website to book a room or just price check rates.
Yes, you can pay with cash You can pay with another card, after explaining the situation Make sure you bring your driver's license
Yes. You just have to leave your bags in your car until check in.
You might have to call Kalahari and find out maybe they'll have a special
You can buy day passes but if you go during the week it works out to be about the same price by booking a room at the resort vs getting a cheap hotel.
Bring lots of money for the arcade
No you dont have to make reservations to eat. Its a variety of food stands to eat.
Should be ok. you would think if not their website would say otherwise
How much is it spend the night
The best!
There is a convention center entrance. I bet you could find help there
There's an arcade with VR games, mini golf, laser tag also
The cheapest is 199 a night but go upwards to the 700s when I stayed
Memorial day weekend
About 179.00 a night for the small room but groupon always has deals available for around 120.00 per night
I'd contact their public relations officer for an answer regarding this.
I think the site said $50 or 60 during the week, but weekend day passes are like $80. Its all day, you can go in and out of the waterpark and resort as you please. I recommend staying at the hotel for the night- you can go in the waterpark hours before you check in to the room and hours after checkout time. Worth it more then more than a day pass!
There's the arcade. Little kids area which is fun and a nice wave pool. There is also a nice a lazy river.
Yes, they are fairly accessible, however, the ramps or elevators are a lot less direct and sort of inconvienient. Also, no ramp from parking lot so would have to travel along the road instead of along the walk way.
Check the website, varied by day, season, etc. They do extend a military discount.
I'm not sure if you can walk in and eat but I know it's been a few years since we've gone but the buffet their was pretty amazing a little pricey but we'll worth it
It's a hotel room... I'm sure they dont care what you do in it. So long as they can check a new client in the day you check out...
It's a normal hotel style room. There is a TV, standard bathroom items, and most have either a sleeper couch & bed or 2 queens. Most also have a deck or porch. You will have access to the swim area also
I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, but there standerd rooms have 2 queen beds in them.
Same as all outdoor pools- from labor day to memorial day
No you just need to buy the passes for the water park
Access to indoor and outdoor water attractions. Mini golf, animals, climbing wall, and zip line are a separate fee.
Tickets come with your room. Bring tennis shoes if want to do ropes, otherwise is an additional $8 to rent crocks (slippery). Enjoy!!! We had a blast! Going back in a couple months.
You'll have to go on the website, put in which location, & put in the date...there are different prices according to location, date, & time. There are also discounts sometimes and discounts for certain people.
I believe you can
It depends on the days you go and rooms you choose average cost is between 450 to 1500
No it wouldn't be charged no more.
Both
Yes
I installed the Flo Rider at the KALAHARI.I also did murals at the KALAHARI in addition I've cooked their too. I was supposed to Design a logo for Mr. Nelson to but the Head of Housekeeping didn't pay me for my Mural so when she found out I was trying to get a transfer she fired me, then when I went back to apply again she blackballed me.
Im not sure June.
They are only open on the weekends and close at 2pm on Monday for sanitary cleaning for the rest of the week.
Masks must be worn in the hotel, other than that you are free to roam the waterpark without it just keep distance. Have a blast!
U paid $250 + taxes for a suit that fits a family of 4-6. The rooms are roomy and comfortable
They have different prices for different rooms. If your on a budget I would recommend getting a standard 2 queen bed room.
Not all of them
My answer is basically the same as the above. They have day passes for everything including the water park so you don't actually have to stay at the resort. I would call the resort or do online chat to confirm what they have or don't have related to passes that would allow you to use the arcade. The way the arcade is run though I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't just walk in the front door and go down to the arcade. They have machines in which you can purchase cards to use in the arcade. you probably wouldn't even have to talk to anyone at the front desk to enjoy the arcade the escape rooms and the other games there.
Sorry i don't know what that is
Call the resort
I don't believe so I just did some research and it doesn't look like you'll be able to get anything with progressive being your Employer but as the comments before me stated they have some awesome deals have a great day!
It is outdoor pool on the south side of the building, near the Sands entrance.
They don't that I seen
Agree w what everyone has already said. The restaurants @ the resort have resort prices ..so a little pricey. Plenty to choose from right up the road tho
I'm not exactly sure. That might be something you would want to call and ask before hand
https://www.kalahariresorts.com/ohio/parks-and-passes/day-passes/
That's would be admisson in the park , figure like $20
Yes it is good place for adults they have couples massage and other things for adults and couples to do
I agree. Get a room. Check Groupon for deals.
$35 a person
And there are a lot of things to do in the area as well, we have been there several times with my daughters dance nationals
Yes, on balcony and away from main foot traffic. I found the exit at the bottom of the stairwells to be handy.
Don't know maybe you should check with your HR department I sure they will have the answers you need . I think you should get the discount last time my family visited Kalahari you employees made my visit awesome thank you . hope you get your discount.
It wasn't too busy, Sunday was a little but Monday was better
Not sure but life guards at every area
You should have received a map at check in. I've found that very helpful. Get one and take a photo of it, so you have it at all times.
It kinda depends on the day and how many people you have
I was there for my bday weekend had so much fun no bed bugs
There are quite a few area to amoke however they all appear to be outside. If you have a balcony room I think you may be able to smoke outside from your balcony.... I am not a smoker but it seems like many do it
I paid about $600. That's for 2 nights @ resort & everything in the park family of 4
BREAKFAST Adults - $21.99 Children (4-12) - $12.99 Children (3 & under) - Free DINNER Adults - $22.99 Children (4-12) - $12.99 Children (3 & under) - Free
I believe if you just show up and rooms are available, you will get one. But why take that risk if you really want to go there. Better book and go.

The zoo is $5 a person. Escape room was $100 for 5 people (varies depending on # of people). 7D was $7/person.
About 65 dollars a person for an all day pass, Definitely worth it! The best waterpark in Sandusky Huron area.
I would call because it depends on the room.
Probably a good question to call them or check website
For day passes or to stay the night? Day passes are about $65 per person over 12, but you can get 4 passes per room for about $200 a night if you follow the Kalahari Facebook page and wait for a deal
It would be cheaper for you to stay then you get an extra day at the water park as well.
As far as my understanding goes a child of any age can be the water but anyone under 48" must wear a life jacket.
My daughter paid 260 for a 1 night stay with the park pass all day til it closed and she could have up to 4 couples in the rooms
Their website has a very detailed description of the types of rooms and the rates. I agree with the others, the food is VERY expensive. Bring your own and use the small refrigerator and microwave in the room or go to local restaurants.
June 2005
It's $49.99 for an adult, $39.99 for kids under 42" tall, and it's free for kids under 2 years old.
One all day pass gives you the opportunity to enjoy both indoor and outdoor water activities.
Depends on weeknight vs weekend.
No it's not free. I believe u can look it up online n it gives u the prices.
Under 42" is 40.99 and over for general admission is 49.99
Depends what type of room you want, if you even plan on staying you could just go there for the day as well. Check Groupon for deals!
Tickets are included with room. The prices vary from room size to when u plan to go the best way ia to go to Groupon they have the lowest prices and you can see dates room cost etc
Didn't have a problem with that but make sure you bring enough cash the food is extremely expensive.
The hot tub is the only thing opened in the winter that's outside
I think 9am-9pm Sun-Thurs and till 11pm Fri & Sat
I don't
Glenn is correct!!
There are about 9 indoor slides The majority of the park resides outside which is open only during the late spring and summer
Sorry, I was there for a conference.
$74 for a day pass to come in and use the water park and arcade
Varies by alot. Check groupon first, amazing deals but usually during the week are the best rates.
Day pass / visitor pass
Not sure if I understand what you are asking. Please restructure the question
It will be the least crowded days. It's always busy though
For the water park to stay to eat there's too many variables which are you asking?
They price differently depending on if you are staying in the resort or if you just need to get access to the water park. On their website you can enter how many people you have of what ages and it will show you multiple options with pricing. Really easy. https://www.kalahariresorts.com/ohio/special-offers/packages/#11084
Unless you buy a special that includes breakfast everything is extra.
I Googled the answer for you, unfortunately the resulting searches did not answer your questions. Please find this out from an alternate source.
At this time, water park closes at 9:30, restaurants open until 11:00, certain bars until 2:00, pizza pub delivers at all hours
You can buy them online, but they were cheaper at the door, oddly enough.
They have a countdown/party for new years, I went 3 years ago and had fun.
An all day pass does not include a room, and you still have to rent a locker. The cost is $45 over 42 inches and $40 under 42 inches. If you can get a room it would be about the same price and then you can enjoy the water park 2 days instead of just the one. From check in on day one until close of the water park on check out day.
Day pass is usually $50 depending on age, day and group. I've paid as much as $100
That question varies. It is more cost effective to get a room for the night which includes access to the water park. Typically water park passes are $45 per person per day.
Its around 50 a day per person. Its better just to stay the night.
About $70 per person. But they have all sorts of packages if you have children or if your staying. Also they have weekly speacials.
Yes
Yes there is. 2 Indoor and outdoor and also 2 adult bar hot tubs. They are also indoor and outdoor.
12 midnight
A few snacks are ok, but not outside food.
I would check on Groupon. Sometimes they have discounted packages.
Sounds a bit fishy to me!
I believe it's $20 per adult, $10 per child (under 12), and 3 & under are free. Kalahari is great, but everything in the resort itself is really pricey. I was just there last weekend.
It depends on what room you are trying to stay in. You can check the website for more details.
Contact the resort if they have ot you can either come get it or they can mail it to you at your expense.
We have been a few times and it does depend on the room you choose...groupon usually has room available for a really good price
Yes, but its expensive. You are better off buying your own stuff beforehand.
I don't know my daughter has it I just went lol
Yeah, but best bang for your buck to stay at the park...check for groupons
Yes, 11pm it closes. The water park is open until 9 on Sundays, and 10 the rest of the week.
You can sign up for their emails and get "beat the clock" offers. We never spend more than $150 a night when we go, including taxes and fees. But it's totally worth it and the price of food and drink is extremely affordable for a resort.
I was there about 3 weeks ago and there qas 4 new slides there while I went
There are 5 total places you can go to and get food. 1 is a bar that serves food near the conference center.
10 am. But you may not get your room till after 3 pm. Depends if it was occupied the night before.
Was much better ride before. Now longer wait time and sleds are heavier and harder to get going.
Please call them and ask. Their staff is very helpful
None. They checked our room over for them first since one of our guests is allergic.
You have to enter your page. They always have offer or otherwise download the Groupon application always put offer of this and other hotels in the area.
Room prices vary widely. It depends on the time of year, day of the week as well as the type of room. All rooms include water park passes for all guests. For the best deals, look for the "beat the clock" offers. One recent offer was $249 for a 2 bedroom suite for up to 6 guests (Jan. 7, 2018).
Boze's has Karaoke Friday & Saturday Crowbar has Karaoke on Sunday
When I was there the park closed at 9 and the arcade at 11
The price very’s it’s regularly 110 but sometimes it raises or drops
