Yes, on balcony and away from main foot traffic. I found the exit at the bottom of the stairwells to be handy.
No smoking allowed at the Sandusky resort.
The one that is in Sandusky Ohio does not allow you to smoke on the balcony or in the hot tub area they do have specific areas and it is 8 ft away from all doors I was so extremely sad when I found this out at check-in because I did think that you could smoke off the balcony and I could not it is a $250 charge if you are caught
