Not this office. We send all 270, 271, 272, 273, and 274 zip's to Greensboro P&DC they sort by carrier route.

Greensboro sorting center is the most horrible place I have encountered in 15 yrs of shipping packages around the country. I have never had issues but some how if greensboro nc is in the equation then it's late lost or never delivered. I get medication of diabetes through there and I've ended up in the hospital twice due to this facility. Hopefully I wont and up dead due to such horrible work. Blame covid or hurricanes or government financing but why is it this is the only place having problems.

Not for public, commercial drop off only. This is a sorting plant. I work there.

Good luck. I have a package there that says it's in transit to the next facility for the past 10 days! When you call and talk to someone, they put you on hold for awhile, come back, take your number, tell you they will look into it and call you back, and that's it! NOTHING! No package, no return phone call, NOTHING! There are numerous complaints about this facility online. This place needs to be held accountable for all the packages they loose, etc.

I ended up getting my packages two weeks after scheduled delivery. The upside is I got a refund. The downside it was mail order diabetic supplies i needed when I said. Hope you got yours! Our mail has gotten a little better lately.

There had to be a reason for it to be RTS..ie. insufficient information, contents, etc. They don't do phone svc in that case they could've told you the problem. Contact the sender

You have to go to your local post office

Your delivery doesn't come from the NDC and they don't have any control over tracking information, your package may go threw them but your local branch makes the delivery.

Same thing happened to me. I ended up driving to Greensboro and picked it up there. 3hr drive one way. But I got what I needed and have shipped fed ex since.

Just because it's showing there does not necessarily mean it's still physically there. The updates will not post until the first class facility updates the scans. Please know we are trying to get mail processed as soon as possible with limited staff due to employees infected and dying in the facilities.

It's Christmas they do the best they can during the Christmas rush. I've been hauling mail out of this ndc for 4 years. Seam efficient to me.

Did you insure your package? Contact the facility where you mailed the package And ask to see if they can track the package...

Johann is correct...there is no way to track a package within the facilty...while the tracking # may show it is there, it may in fact be en route to the delivering facility

I would do either ignore that note since you didn't order anything or contact the USPS and talk to them...have them to check on their end since they track stuff coming through there. Sounds very suspicious.

Packages are only delivered to your local station or branch from this location.

If you tracked the package and showing at that facility give the system time to update location, if still showing at that facility reach out to that facility with information and check status of package.

Its great you love your job & defend it yet a company's accountability is the deliverence to be delivered ongoing toward the rights of customer service world wide upon each individual whom entrust the USPS with contents of mail timely; however, liability is greatly avoided. (Dolan v. USPS).

This is a processing plant for the mail. Contact is only for employee or job related issues. If looking for mail tracking this has to be done trough the USPS web site or local office.

Yes, but your package is probably going to be delayed, possibly opened like mine was, and then sent to recovery in Georgia. This is the WORSE place in USPS and I have already reported them.

If they paid through paypal you will need to call paypal, if not, call the post office in the city that it will be delivered from. This NDC is a distribution center, not a station

If it is a letter, it will be at the P&DC

Every container from every Post Office station with packages mailed in N.C.,S.C, Va, and Md come to Greensboro first to be sorted. I don't understand it either, even mail from and to same zip code will come to us first. Very inefficient.

Most likely the package was damaged, contents would be sent to Atlanta for disposal and shipping label returned to sender for notification and process to try to claim contents. Machinery at Post Office is VERY old and BRUTAL. Everyone should package like it will go to Antarctica then China then back to USA. Sorry

Said it was received at greensboro 12/15 and nothing since. Do they not care about people's packages. I'm as mad as I can be. I've called customer service 6 times and no one knows anything. I even put in a claim, have a case #, and have heard nothing nothing . Obviously it wont get there for Christmas, I just want to know IS it going to get there. Sure has ruined my Christmas.

I really do not think that is possible. You have to have a tracking number in order for it to even be found

You are just a liar, look at all the posts, how many people are missing packages, what the hell are you guys doing it’s been weeks and it is 2 days before Christmas, we have one day left for mail delivery and I am pretty sure it won’t show up than, why lie and say all packages are caught up? What a joke!

There are a few reasons..One main reason is weather related. Due to the large accumulation of snow that was dumped on the southern states which in turn cause major delays and even rerouting of packages. Some of the trucks could have been deserted to other mail processing facilitys due to weather. I always recommend sending packages a tracking number. I cant stress that enough. Sorry for your inconvenience.. I hope you get your package soon .

Who? Mail is processed there and then sorted to surrounding Post Offices or sorted and sent out of state. If you have something sent to you it is sorted (if it comes through there) and sent to your local Post Office.

This facility is not open to the public you need to visit your local station

Depending on how you send it. Priority is an average of 3 to 4 days. Parcel Post an average of 7 to 10. There are a few Guaranteed options. Make sure it is packaged securely, whether it is a small to large package. Make sure address is legible and will not come off.
