I have the same situation going!!!! It makes no sense!!!
TAPE IT, INSURE IT, TAPE TAPE TAPE. If delivery is NOT in this area then barcode might be damaged so just give it some more time , if delivery IS in this area package might be damaged and sender might get a letter to TRY to recover contents and postage paid ( WE ARE BACKED UP ON DAMAGED MAIL LETTERS on January's now). use regular 3m package tape and press it onto the box cross both ways not just down the gap, don't use that thick stuff or masking tape or duck tape or electrical tape or Christmas paper tape, you might think it sticks but comes loose later. Use box designed for mail not moving box don't Use Christmas paper or news paper. TAPE TAPE TAPE. Use a nice medium size print, not micro or giant . barcode readers won't pick it up. Don't use thermal paper for the address , friction from other packages will black out address and some tape's will bleach it. DOUBLE CHECK ADDRESS. Again tape it, INSURE IT , tape TAPE TAPE.
