Cool place to visit! And it really is in walking distance from Downtown San Diego. During the weekend in comes to life. Lots of vendors a different things come to this strip right by the bay. Food, souvenirs, some weird stuff lol, some cooks stuff you’ll find here. Some cool seafood restaurants right at the water’s edge, and some cool art and military honors that you can find walking on the strip. Here you can also find the USS Midway Museum, which should be a must visit for tourists and locals. Definitely worth a visit. It is also accessible coming from the Amtrak/Trolley Station located in Downtown San Diego, which is another cool place to visit, specially at night time! Parking is always an issue. But there is lots of pay parking around. Look for the ACE parking lots. Usually the cheapest and the most locations throughout downtown! There is also parking right by Seaport Village, but you got to be there super early to find some! Super Early!

This little harbor village is great for a walk. It's right next to USS Midway but the vibe is quite different. Slower but more friendlier. Many shops and great view of the ocean. Plenty of benches and beach seats for a relaxed sightseeing. The parking lot charge fee but you can get validation from stores or restaurants.

This place has been a favorite of mine ever since I first visited it in 1989. Seaport Village is a monument to me. A valuable historical artifact. From fine dining, stores, art galleries, breweries and waterfront walkways, you can’t pick a better place to spend time with friends, family, or just your pups. It’s a favorite of locals and visitors alike!

It was super bowl Sunday a few hours before the game started and a friend and I went down to see Port village for a walk. There are a lot of great shops and restaurants of course, and it was a beautiful day. Mike Hess brewery was not too crowded and my friend mentioned they had great tacos so I was in! We had a surf and turf taco, grilled shrimp, and a Veracruz taco as well. Can't remember the fourth taco but they were all delicious! We also tried a few drinks, one of which was a lavender seltzer that was pretty good, and my friend had one of the beers. Fantastic atmosphere, great people watching and other views. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

Validated self-parking: $5 for the first 3 hours or part thereof; $3 every 30 minutes thereafter or part thereof. Validation with a minimum $10 purchase. Non-validated self parking: $8 per hour or part thereof
Still there, confirmed.
Yes, you can;)
Nope, just construction.
Yes it's still there. It's $3 per person. However the parent can stand beside the child free of cost.
Thanks for your answer. When could i buy one then?
Yes of course! It's great for family and friends and kids
Seaport Village is on the San Diego Bay waterfront. The nearest beach is about 15 to 20 minutes drive.
Yes, but if you plan on buying something you can validate for a cheaper parking fee.
I would think so. Maybe not all the smaller stores but the big restaurants should be. You should search their website for events.
Palm trees are common
Technically, no. It's posted that there is no bicycling allowed through the Seaport Village section of the Embarcadero or Boardwalk area. I'm fairly certain that would include scooters, since they are supposed to ride in the bike lane.
The ones closest to the Amphibious vehicle stop.....
If it's there it was closed still. There was still about half the shops still closed but so.e were starting to open up.
Pretty sure will be up till new years
Not sure about The clowns but it is still open and beautiful as ever sorry
They had played different music every time im there.
I didn't see any. Only 2 wheel scooters and 2 wheel bicycles.
It is a place to enjoy with the whole family
No, parking isn't free. They have paid lots and a limited number of metered spaces.
Sorry
I know we just walked and did the trolley or their is cheaper parking meters but farther away though
There isn't a specific tour bus.. But if you park at old town trolley station and take the green line south..it drops you off directly i. Front of seaport village.. Same trolley will take you to the gas lamp and convention center as well.. Parking at the trolley station is safe and free.. And eliminates having to troll for paid parking downtown... The trolley station is patrolled by security and there are always police around... So your vehicle is pretty safe...
Idont know.
Not sure. I got shoes there, ate at a good restaurant, and departed on an excursion there.
Sea port is practically next door to the convention center. 5 min walk tops.
I would have to say by the carousel and food court area
Hi Judi! Seaport Village is on Port of San Diego land. The company who currently owns and operates Seaport Village, TRC, has a lease with the Port of San Diego until September 2018. The Port of San Diego indicated that it would like to redevelop the land that Seaport Village currently sits on once TRC's lease expires. Redevelopment, especially on Port tidelands property, takes a long time. So the Port of San Diego has decided to take over Seaport Village, in its current state, and run it until the redevelopment can happen. Right now they are signing 3-5 year lease deals with the current Seaport Village shops and restaurants. It is feasible that Seaport Village could remain standing as is for another 5-10 years. That is how long redevelopments can take. As you can see, it is not a clear-cut answer. We appreciate your interest and hope you will visit our shops and restaurants soon!
You can find a spot near the Star of India and pay $2.50-$3.00 for three hours. It is plenty of time to walk around, see the Midway, Star of India, and tour Seaport Village
I used my disabled tag in the parking area right outside the entrance. So yes, it is available st no cost.
Unfortunately the answer on that is no
Hi Ally. We do not have an old time photo studio or booth at Seaport Village. Hope this helps.
Hi Heidi. Our carousel does not have the gold ring grab. I hope this helps.
Hi Monique! Big Dog is no longer at Seaport Village. It has been about 12 years since they left. We hope you will come back and visit us again soon.
No
This is Google Maps.. none of our guides have access or the ability to be change any sinage, barriers, or any security feature.. please direct your concerns to the seaport authority..
We just when to the museum and find out for ourselves. You could call the museum. I think they have student discount and senior citizen discount as well.
Depends where you park I usually parked close n used my debit card but you can park closer to the city for free n walk a block or 2
Every weekend it changes.sometime oldies but goodies, sometime country . variety
Yes, you should address this concern. We have a HUGE aging population and it is not easy to transport a walker & wheelchair via flight. Especially at 89 years old. Shame on you Seaport Village.....you offer scooters for the able, but forget the disabled...Shame on you!
