I’ve only ever had one good experience from the sweet blonde nurse. I cannot remember her name. One time one of the nurses told me I was at risk for being obese and I needed to lose weight. I was 22 and 150 lbs. I was no where close to being “obese.” I went home and cried. Another time I was anxious about being there so my blood pressure came out to be a little elevated. I asked the lady to please do it again, because I get nervous coming to the doctor. She stated that I have “white people syndrome.” That was incredibly out of line. I don’t recommend coming here, they love to make their patients uncomfortable.

I don't see why there is so many negative comments. If someone got called back before you its because they are there for a different service- they have different nurses who perform different services. WIC, family planning, immunizations, etc. Immunization hours are clearly posted on the website- you cant expect to walk in 20mins before close, have all your info input, insurance filled, vaccine drawn up and administered in that short amount of time. That's an error waiting to happen.... Inventory must be counted daily to account for and correct any errors made during the day and to give time to reorder if needed.

Today I went to get my second MMR and arrived at 1:37 the Internet establishes they close at 2:00PM. I was told by the attendant that they stop doing vaccinations for inventory 2 hours before actual closing. I have no clue what they meant by inventory but it should be clearly spelled on the Internet and at the entrance of the building the reason why the stop doing vaccination services two hours before. Not good for Tax payers.

They do not see sick patients. The health dept provides STI screenings/treatment, family planning, immunizations, WIC, DOHC, and other services. If you need medical attention I would go to urgent care if you are uninsured.
