I am trying to reinstate my license and have been back and forth a half a dozen times due to them giving me only one thing at a time to do. Each time I asked what do I need to do to reinstate and each time they tell me what I need to do and then when I'm done with that and go back to finish they give me 2 more things that's required. I'm can be very patient in some situations but this pushed me over the edge, how is someone who doesn't live in concord supposed to keep taking time off from work each time to sit for 2 hours with an appt supposed to make this happen. It's been months now with all together 8 tasks that were required of me and they tell me only a couple at a time. No wonder people are so frustrated with the Dmv they need to get all their associates in the same page of what they should be providing to people in certain situations. Perhaps maybe the DMV wouldn't be jam packed everyday????? Just a thought!!

This new “appointment” process is another way the state is screwing the public, if you want a registration, it can take up to 2 weeks. But as long as it’s good for the state, then that’s ok, because WE work for the state, not the other way, right? They should be called “Appointment/Wait centers”.
William Dinsmore
This is a well-managed DMV. I went first thing in the morning with a long line already at the door but still was only there for less than 15 minutes to register my vehicle. I'm sure it's not always that quick, but the staff was very friendly and informative.
Somerset Swim & Fitness Services
They care about helping you. Keep on hold forever and constantly ask for the same information even once you have supplied it to them over and over again!! Been waiting for 3 months to receive my title and still cant get any answers
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
no
You have up to the next 3years, to only pay to renew your driver's license in the State of NH. After 3years, in order to 'renew' your driver's license, you must take the full written and driving tests, again, in order to have your NH driver's license, back into active status.
No
online or via dropbox
Yes, you should call the DMV you want to go to and make an appointment for written test and then the drive Test.
What do you need to bring to renew your driver's license
Yes u can
I had to do the same thing I also went through 7 months of in house treatment then had to pay the 1550 pay reinstatement fees and then I was labeled a habitual offender so I had to have a hearing for that also this happened in 2010 and I just now can get it back but I still have to take a 6 hour online class and get the interlock device for a year and sr22 for a year... It's amazing what you have to go through to get your license back in the state of NH...
You have to pay the fines in Mass and get reinstated. Then you have to pay any outstanding fines in New Hampshire and change your license from Mass to New Hampshire. They cost my friend almost $500 to do that because his fines were so high in Mass from not paying them. They don't just go away. They just grow bigger and bigger. So until you clear off your Mass situation New Hampshire cannot issue you a license in any way.
Absolutely. No lines, no waiting!
Not sure... It's best if you call. They were very helpful when I got my driving record
yeah but i mean is there a wait to get a appointment?
Depends on why you lost it but you will at the very least have to pay reinstatement fees for your license and registration..
You can get a letter/affidavit from the person you live with saying you live with them. However they have to be with you when you get the id.
replace online or by drop box
Call
Yes regular hours
https://www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/dmv/registration/disability.htm
You ONLY have 30 days to make the transfer.
You will need proof of identity and proof of NH residency, but it doesn't have to be license. For example, 20-day temporary plates are not issued to residents of the State of Massachusetts. You will need a signed bill of sale with the addresses of buyer & seller, the VIN and a brief description of the vehicle. If you're buying from a NH dealer, they will give you the 20 day tags. You don't need a title for a 20 day tag for a private sale or from a NH licensed dealer, regardless of the year.
Order a replacement online
Did you try the Newport location
Very easy to renew even elderly license online. Will get license in mail within 2 to 3 weeks, so please renew early in november or as soon as they send you your license renewal form in the mail.
Just the difference between the old and new 🚗
Jamal, we don't care.
Should of had it by now
Look it up....
If you go to the webpage and click on licensing L explain what they need to get a New Hampshire license
This is a question for someone who works at the DMV. Call them.
I believe it would be New Hampshire
You can do it online at there website or there office is next to Comcast on Regional Drive in Concord. Either way you willneed to show proof of name change and address change
No you don't. Any other form of I.D. will be acceptable
No
She's correct. You have zero time after expiration date.
8am
No just have state seal on birth certificate and marriage license
I think it's 8 to 430pm . According to their site. But that could be wrong. It might be best to call and ask.
I think all vehicles need an inspection sticker, but you might want to find out by calling the DMV near you just to make sure.
According to Google yes and it has to be in the month of April
Depending on the nature and scope of your commercial vehicle operation, you will need to fill out one of the following three USDOT registration forms. MCS-150: This form applies to the majority of carriers. MCS-150B: This form combines USDOT registration and hazmat application. MCS-150C: This form combines USDOT registration and the Intermodal Equipment Provider application. When you go to the FMCSA’s website, it will direct you to the form that matches your business profile. You can file the application form online or send it via U.S. postal mail to the FMCSA headquarters at the following address. FMCSA Attention: USDOT Number Application 1200 New Jersey Avenue SE Washington, DC 20590 The USDOT processes registrations as soon as they receive them. When you fill out the form online, the process takes a matter of days. If you send the application form in the mail, you will generally need to wait between four and six weeks to have the application processed.
Call the number they gave you with your temporary driver's license
To my knowledge No. You may need a Passport, and proof of vacations.
5 to 10 business days to see a duplicate title
Usually title applications in NH are at your town hall.
Yikes, sounds like quite the debacle. That's one to handle directly with the registry. Best of luck 😳
Everything requires an appointment currently but if you are having trouble finding the link, just call or email the dmv.
They don't have one listed. You'll have to call and ask.
Not legally as your license will expire on 3/26. You will be at risk should you be pulled over by law enforcement.
At customer service desk but you need appointment to go in. Easy quick sign up online
Make an appointment at DMV. Have valid proof of sale and identity, plus $10. https://www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/dmv/registration/temporary-plates.htm
You need to call and make an appointment
I am 99% sure everything requires an appointment now. If you call 227-4000 (make sure you have plenty of time to be on hold right now) and press 3 they will let you know.
No
You need to call them and make an appointment
The really torturous part is the wait on the phone when you call for an appointment. Otherwise very efficient when you get there.
You can just call the registry and they will set an appointment for you
You will have to go in person. And these days you have to call for an appointment first. Call first thing in the morning, otherwise you'll be on hold for 2 hours. I just went through this. The worse part is getting the appointment.
They have an associate and all forms at the door at the DMV, for you to pick up and fill out. Then make an appointment to drop them off, by calling...
It varies. Drive 5 mph under the speed limit while doing your test. Its really simple as long as you are wearing your seatbelt an you check your mirrors often. You will want to be comfortable with the vehicle your going to perform your test with. Take your time dont rush during the testing. Just drive around an do what instructor asks you to do. Be comfortable and confident.
You have to call them
You need to set up an appointment to pay fees. Go on their website and click on licenses and will walk you through it
I would assume you'd need to file report with the police department for forgery if that's what happened, Possible grand theft also if, if it was done knowingly. Otherwise call DMV CONCORD, ask for transfer to title division once there ask for supervisor. I am not a legal advisor just my opinion, just want to put that out there.
Agree, check out their requirements for a real ID and be prepared
I believe you can
Call the DMV
How can I get a 20 day plate tomorrow. I need it by tomorrow
1999 or older. If it is a 2000 or newer it requires a title.
Yes
You will need a "Real ID" (drivers license or non-driver ID) if you plan to fly ANYWHERE WITHIN THE USA on or after 10/1/2020.
Online
You can renew online every other renewal. You must go to the DMV in person the other times.
Sorry, try the website
Birth certificate, utility bill
The DMV will be closed
Bow numbers are on a boat. They are the registration numbers
The dealership will normally forward the owner the title minus the leaseholder information so a new title should have been created.this is the responsibility of the dealership not the MV commission.
The website will tell this.
Yes different ones for different departments
I believe they are. Check the website to be sure.
You should be able to register it at your town hall
You need to go into the DMV because it is a physical card
You can only get 20 day plates from a DMV and you also get a temporary registration
You can walk in. Usually need to be there before 3:30 tho
That depends on the type of license you have and fines you incurred. You would want to call or go to the Concord DMV to see what you might need. There will be a reinstating fee plus cost of license a regular operating license is $50.
You have to do what happens when you get a DUI now it doesn't matter how long ago it was you have to go to their program then they will probably tell you that you need more work meaning treatment then interlock and sr-22 I've spent close to 2,000 so far. The interlock is 90 a month then you have to get sr22 that's more money and pay reinstatement fees for your license and registration ..
Just your expiring license but if you want to get the "real id" you need the license, passport or birth certificate, 2 proofs of residence and your social security card. You can to nh.gov and click on the nh dmv link at bottom of page
No
No excise tax
No
Not sure, best to call
There are temporary cards (red) and permanent ones (blue) you go by the punch marks on the card.
NH.Gov/dmv
In New Hampshire you don't need any certificate as far as I know. All I needed was my social , birth certificate, proof of ID and proof of NH residency
Yes it is possible
Go to www.nh.gov/dmv and go to forms to get address change form
No, the license holder can pay the fine.
They will get a translator if one is not on staff
Same application as a driver's license, but non driving
Depending on which class and what you plan on driving, will determine which tests you need. At the minimum, you'll need to take the General Knowledge test at the DMV, and then you can get your permit so that you can practice. When you're ready (at least 14 days after getting the permit), then you can schedule for the pre-trip, skills, and road tests. You have to pass all 3 of those, in that order, and then you can get licensed. My suggestion is that you go to your local DMV office and get a copy of the CDL Driver's Manual, if you haven't done so already, and study that. As I said, you'll need at least the General Knowledge test which will allow you to test for Class B, and the General Knowledge plus Combination test for Class A. And then whatever endorsements you plan to get. To help with the computer exams, I also recommend taking the practice tests at www.cristcdl.com . They helped me out. Best of luck
Yes it's ok
As long as there are no changes to your license like address, corrective lenses etc., you can renew your license once every 10 years.
According to below info, only if you never used your plates https://www.dmv.org/nh-new-hampshire/relocation/moving-out-of-state.php It's not the official site though, so best giving them a call, the Maps Q's are just answered by other users.
https://www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/dmv/driver-licensing/apply/duplicate.htm
https://www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/dmv/driver-licensing/apply/duplicate.htm
You can renew up to 6 months prior to your expiration date
No, not yet. If you are convicted then a judge may authorize a limited privilege license for you.
original- Birth Certificate () Social Security card or W2 tax form and residency=lease, major utility bill or a person you live with with their ID
As far as I know, they will not accept any online driving schools. If you'd like to double check, contact the drivers ed dept at the DMV
Which CDL?You would need to pass the permit test first.
Fill out paperwork or call and double check
Depends on how long its suspended. Typically if it's a lengthy suspension, they can get a non driver for Identification ($10). Once she reinstates, she will have to turn in non driver because you can't hold 2 IDs.
For mailing yes, not legal.
I guess its the licensing part, I have records I need to fax them to get my license back
There is no costs based upon age. As always check their website. https://www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/dmv/driver-licensing/apply/fees.htm PS: just copy & paste the link.
As always, check their website: https://www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/dmv/driver-licensing/apply/duplicate.htm PS: copy & paste the link.
No, just testing.
Tax bill or electric bill are best-something that shows you are there paying bills.
That will depend on your town as they are the ones who handle fees regarding registration. PS: check their website, NH DMV or, if they have one, your town's.
I always type check the DMV'S website, I'm sure this happens enough for them to provide directions. You may also check with your town/city as well, that is where it's registered after all.
Just go 2 the DMV fill out a application 4 a duplicate license
Check their website for what you need to get your initial ID. I'm sure that will work now as well.
You can go into any DMV office for a replacement
Yes but check their website as I could be mistaken.
I would think so but, as always, check their website or give them a call.
Registration happen at your town or city office. The town/city clerk would give the registration fees.
As always, check out their website. But I doubt it.
Check their website but your question is unclear.
As always, check their website. Call one of the listed numbers if need be.
Check their website but realize you may have to show up in person to handle this. Also, you may be able to call them and ask how to handle this.
Please call 227-4000 for answers.
I don't think so but I'm not an expert. Check their website but realize you may have to show up and ask directly in person.
Take it to your local DMV. A duplicate is $10
Yes, you need your old registration to transfer plates to a new vehicle. You can check with your town clerk regarding fees.
No. You cannot order plates online.
You can renew your license up to six months early
Check their website but realize you may have to show up at a DMV Facility with ID to claim those private records.
You can go to any DMV office. You need to have a completed Walking Disability form completed by your doctor.
A small chip is fine. If it turns into something much bigger, then no. If it's legal to be on the road, then you're fine for the road test. On a side note, chips can also be filled relatively cheaply so they will hopefully not crack all the way. I had mine done last year and it cost me about $60
Go to www.my.gov/safety/divisions/dmv/driver-licensing/apply/renew.htm
For? English is one of many languages available in these facilities, this state, and this country. Are you having language difficulties?
If you are making payments on your car it needs to be insured, but if you own it outright you are not required to insure it.
MA license and new address proof. For vehicle you need title. Call their number, before going there.
You have a license but it’s not in your possession. In other words, you were licensed to drive but lacked proof, an infraction that may be dismissed once you can prove that you possessed a valid license at the time of the incident. (Note: you may have to pay a fine.)
Please call them
Just applied for a non driving ID...I paid $10. Bring any identification id and proof of NH residency.
Please check with them for details.
Sure! you do.
First. If your license has expired, do not drive until you renew it. The easiest thing for you to do would be to go in person to the DMV with your expired license & some proof of address. They'll give you your new license.
No.
NH DMV website provides a plate check function. Go there and find out.
Your Maine registration will be accepted as proof of ownership. Bring it. Bring your license. New Hampshire does NOT require insurance but bring that too, I know you need it in Maine. As for Honda's lien, the DMV will find that when they do your title search. Just tell them about it. Your situation is best handled in person at a DMV offc rather than attempt it online. Good luck & welcome to New Hampshire. I'll warn you that the phone system at our DMV can be VERY frustrating. That's why I suggest a face to face. You have 30 days to make the change. No worries.
Check their website.
I think they need more staffs to do the process.
Please check with them
Check their website. It answers all kinds of questions.
Please check with them
I would check the DMV website. Should answer every question you may have.
I'd check the NH DMV website on that.
Do not take this as Gospel. But, I've paid off cars before as well as paid cash to outright own the vehicle & every time, I've received the Title by mail which declares the property mine. I've never had to request a Title from DMV. I will say that for one vehicle, I waited about 60 days. They are required to send you the proof of ownership once the lender (if there is/was one) notifies them that the debt is clear. If you're really eager, you can visit an offc in person & request a Certificate of Title as long as you bring proof that the debt has finalized.
Check NH DMV's website but realize you may have to do an in person visit. Or try to address matters with Florida's DMV if possible.
Every place that I found on the DMV websites that mentioned stolen plates says that the first thing to do is to report it stolen to the police. I'm sure the procedure gets more complicated after that & my personal guess is that you'll end up at the DMV. If it goes that far, bring all of your paperwork. Good luck for a simple result.
As always, check out the DMV website.
It is also true that there are homeless people who are somehow kept on a list and our police will do welfare checks on these people. I'd really suggest talking to an officer on the street & ask the same straightforward question. I hope you're inside a shelter & have your basics.
If possible I would do an in person visit.
The answer suggesting the website is very generic. I DID a quick check of NH DMV site & it clearly states that you may apply for a duplicate title IN PERSON AT ANY DMV OFFICE. It's not a service they offer online. They want to see the person. See the identification. We can imagine that it would be fairly easy for someone who has ever serviced the vehicle to collect the info needed to apply online. Sorry to disappoint but you'll have to walk into a DMV office, in Concord or one of the regional satellite offices & apply in person. Just ask google "how can I get a duplicate automobile title?" You'll see for yourself. I've done it. It costs $30 & it takes about 30 days.
Usually, in my limited experience, NH requires that the residence be a primary residence.. Do not publish that for Gospel. A friend lives between FLA & NH and he was required to declare his primary residence. He chose FLA because even tho he is physically in NH most of the time, FLA registration made more sense for monetary reasons. Just like the answer above, I truly recommend calling & going thru the gruel of menus plus wait time for the only answer that matters.
Have him ask for advice from his Sergeants. They know and are ready to guide him. That's the NCO's job.
Yes
This one needs either the Main office of DMV in Concord or one of the Satellite offcs. Use your most currant registration & ask for a copy of title You'll fill out a simple form, while they do most of the work searching for your clear title. Costs about $30 & can take as much 30 days.
2 things to consider: DMV's website covers almost everything & have him check with his Sergeant regarding this. When I served Military ID automatically extended your drivers license for various needs.
Thats not fair.
Your registration ends exactly at 11:59pm
One veteran to another, we are citizens of this fine country & State. There should never be a caste system created. Especially "Veteran" caste.
Any vehicle made yr 2000 or after needs a clear title. If you already own it free & clear, it'll cost you $30 to get a clear title at DMV. If you bought it private sale & only have a bill of sale, take that to DMV & they will do the title search. Either way, the title will cost you $30.
As disheartening as this may sound, you're probably going to have to start w the officer in charge of the accident investigation. That's where the report started. Call DMV & ask.
First go to NH'S DMV website & check the frequently asked questions. If there is no electronic means available online, go to the DMV where you are now & ask their help/direction. I once had to use a notary public & certified mails while away from home.
If your registration privileges are suspended, you will have been notified. Suspension of license does not ALWAYS result in loss of registration but sometimes it does. Read ALL of your pprwrk.
I do not know this for a fact, please check for yourself but in my experience, scomm means "to do with deafness & or hard of hearing".
No, pay the ticket and ask her to make sure not to speed again. She will continue to have her license.
In NH they keep your record active for 5 yrs for minor offenses & active for 7 yrs for major offenses.
No. A non driver can own a car, such as someone w a driver for whatever reason. One does not need a license to own a car but you need one to drive that car. The other problem would be if you DID have a license but it was suspended. Then your rights to hold a registration could very well be suspended too.
Yes, $50.00 by cash, check, debit or credit card.
Any update?
25 years old at least
The state of New Hampshire will give you 10 days grace so you can make & keep an appt W an Inspection Station. So until Oct 10th.
Yes. All vehicles except certain types of agricultural vehicles must be inspected annually by the end of the month of registration.
You can go to Concord or to any one of the satellite offices that serve all of the far reaching areas of our state. You don't say where you are so I can't say which office is closest. Use your phone, Google NH DMV satellite offices.
I will NOT claim to know for a fact & my only safe advice is that you contact the DMV to be sure BUT! my first instinct is to reply that here in New Hampshire all Police vehicles, including motorcycle police use blue lights to signal a motorist so I just can't imagine that blue lights are allowed on anything except police vehicles.
They take walkins but SOME folks will have made appts & so you'll have to wait for an available Test Instructor. You do, of course, plan to take the written test first?
Every person, as WELL AS EVERY vehicle is only allowed one 20 day plate in a year.. That's to be sure that the vehicles on the road are safe & like each other in their standards. So, you can only have one per year per person per vehicle.
If you have one, bring your current Fla license with you. If they require ANYTHING else, it'd be a second valid ID such as a birth cert or a passport. But I truly believe your Fla license will work, as long as it's a photo license. If your transferring a vehicle registration as well, have that handy too.
Yes. Checks. Debit cards. Cash. But the name on the check must be the same as the name on the license.
