Beautiful day to find shells! This is my favorite beach...it's not as crowded as clearwater. The parking can be a little tricky, but it's worth trying to get a spot. Plenty of eateries, and just come for the day or just to watch the amazing sunset. We spent the day swimming and looking for shells, but u can paddle board or go kayaking.

Absolutely gorgeous. We want to come back! We are from Canada and we enjoyed this beach so much. It was clean, it was warm it was just great! And the sun sets here were gorgeous!

It is a nice beach but honestly, parking is difficult/limited if you are not there by early to mid morning. Crowded on the beach and there are not any public restrooms located beachside from 1st Ave access up...red tide was posted upon entry to the beach access.

Just steps to the water from your parking space. Quiet and clean. Yes I frequent this beach at sunsets!

Def no camping allowed on IRB. You can walk on the beach any hour. Public park access on 15th Ave closes at Sunset, the free and permit accesses close around 11 or 12 at night. Times are posted for those.
I don't know about umbrellas and chairs, but they do have little tents that you can rent.
I have that , and also my shark permit. a lot of even long time fishermen do not realize it is required if targeting sharks from shore. It is a fairly new requirement.
that's not predictable, tho' I've seen plenty of parking available even on Independence Day weekend.
There's a lot of free parking on beach accesses and paid at the county parking lot between 16th and 17th Avenues but I don't think an RV would fit. North of IRB and Bellaire Beach is Sank Key Park. There's a lot of parking there and the beach is beautiful of course. Amazing sunsets, sand and sea oats.
No, you can still go walk on the beach in the middle of the night, but around like 2am I've been told the cops do a round to check for people sleeping coming from someone who lives right there. I've been there around midnight walking.
You are kidding. You can't smoke around a group of people. So, I would say no.
IRB has a dog park off 10th and Gulf blvd but no beach... There is a dog beach on the bayside right under the West Bay Belleair Causeway that dogs love! Try it
I havent seen any. Most of the places you have to leave by 11PM or earlier.
I have seen people grill there with a tiny Weber grill. I would grill towards the back of the beach, to be courteous, because of the smoke your grill will produce.
Parking in the lot isn't free ($2/hr?) But if you park a couple blocks, by the church, watch for the signs for no parking, it's free over there and then walk over to the beach.
