I have that , and also my shark permit. a lot of even long time fishermen do not realize it is required if targeting sharks from shore. It is a fairly new requirement.

But you need to make sure you get a saltwater license from Walmart...you need to be able to produce an ID at Walmart to get your fishing license whether you are a resident or vacationer. most people don't know this most people don't get one but technically if Florida wildlife commission stopped you they could ask you for one. Not required of children....
