This is my first time here. The second entrance gate is damaged and my dog easily slips through it. I hope you will repair it quickly I look forward to using this park in the future

One of my favorite dog parks! Love the shaded seating, lots of room to run & play, lots of water available, bathrooms & nature preserve on the property as well. Plus, the beach across the street!

Very pleasant comfortable place that's well supervised. And it's right across the street from Indian Rocks Beach with a great nature preserve as well right next to dog park

Well-maintained, free public dog park located in the "heart" of Indian Rocks Beach. There is grass and gravel terrain. No agility features for the dogs, but there is a tunnel that can accommodate large dogs, a dual human-canine water fountain, shaded seating, and plenty of extra plastic bags--all located within the fenced-in area. A public restroom and (not dog-friendly but still cool) mangrove board walk is right next door. Definitely worth a stop to exercise with your pup.

No animals, dogs or otherwise, are permitted on any portion of the Gulf of Mexico beach in Pinellas County. Search Pinellas County Parks & Recreation, dog parks. There is an exhaustive list with addresses and rules. (BTW, it is a $146 fine 1st offense.)

Is there access to the ocean?

Rachel's right, you need to cross Gulf Blvd to get to the ocean. Dogs are not allowed on the beach in IRB. The closest dog beach is on the mainland side of the Belleair Bridge, which is less than 10 minutes north of the IRB dog park.
