We were in Sandcastle III, 504, very nice condo. Office is super helpful, gave us some free museum tickets due to our flights being cancelled and losing a day of vacation. Free bikes are nice, but you do have to get to the office to get them, so it's not as convenient as they make it sound, but still a nice perk and there are PLENTY to choose from! Red Box-type DVD rentals also in office. Good location for walking to shops/restaurants if you are ok with longer walks (we are!). Great walking beach. Always plenty of loungers on the pool deck. We would definitely consider a return to this property.

We chose a premium property that supposedly met certain Plumlee standards but unfortunately the property fell short. The screen door was rusted out and had to be removed leaving us with no way to enjoy the gulf sounds and breeze without risking insects. There were other oddities such as the a/c unit was placed in and took some space in the master closet and also created noise. The main closet was filled with paint supplies so we could not use it. The building was old and tired. There frequently were queues waiting for the small elevator. This was because you need to carry a key to use the stairs. Plumlee was responsive to maintenance requests and did adjust our bill , and the location was great - steps from the beach but overall had we known the property was not up to standard we would have chosen a different one. We were advised to call Plumlee and speak to an agent who was familiar with all of the units as they can steer you away from ones that are less than desirable. Lesson learned.

Would not recommend this Realty Company for Rental. Terrible experience on a recent vacation. Have been renting condos in the Indian Shores area for many years . Sandcastles 1 and 2. Charging premium prices for very run down rental. Very disappointing experience. The experience left me not wanting to go back to Sandcastles, but i decided that I will continue to return to one of my favorite beaches, i will just never go through Plumlee again. I only gave 1 star because it forced me to. Reliable source

The condo itself was wonderful. The owners put a lot of care into their condo. Each year it has been nice to see upgrades, such as new appliances, furniture, lighting, etc. It's comfortable and the views are great. The condition and upkeep of the building have been a disappointment. Needs more attention to basic things like lighting, broken door closers, paint, cleanliness, etc. It's very nice to have a rental manager on site.
