The dumbest application requirements ever. I toured this apartment complex through a self tour just going to different units, however I noticed there were no leasing agents on site to answer any questions. You have to call or text a number (they prefer text). A leasing agent takes forever to respond. Then I was told that I was well over the requirement for income though I was denied because of my rental score when it’s a normal score? The lady wasn’t even trying to work things out with me it was just a blantant no when there were residents with nonpayment notices on their door. Smh.

Starting with the good - the building has great amenities like the pool area/hot tub, a well-equipped gym that’s kept clean, and a superb and helpful security staff. The bad - there is no longer on-site management even though the multi-building complex has doubled in size, the robo-assistants and email tools used to reach management are shoddy and don’t lead to a reply for days, the management gives little notice (3 days including a weekend in my case) for exterior construction so intrusive they had to invade my apartment for 2 days and remove/replace an exterior wall while I work from home, and to top it off - much of the building are broken (the heating in the pool, the gas fire pit on the roof, the right elevator FOB reader in the A building). I’m leaving expeditiously after this lease - friends in other buildings with similar rent have far better experiences in South Park. Further - most of these good reviews are because management used to ask new tenants to leave a 5 star review after a high-touch move in. Then the management becomes harder to reach than the president afterwards. I’d like to see how some of these reviews fared if they were revisited a few months after move in.

Avant is a great place to live...the facilities are modern and neat. There is a cool pool and hot tub as well as a small gym. Oh and a rooftop lounge area with a fireplace. The people who work in the office are professional and kind. Madeline, Antwinette and Dominic are all pleasant to work with. The maintenance guys are also very attentive and prompt. The old dryer in my unit was failing and they promptly determined the issue and replaced it with a new unit. LOVE IT! What more can I say just absolutely love it here.

I think these apartments are dope. These apartments are not even five years old so everything is practically brand new and I love that. They have all the practicality you need. Even if you’re Bad n Boujee this place is comfortable for you as well. The location for me personally is perfect because I work in Orange County and need to be close to the expressway. It is a bit noisy at times but if I wanted peace and quiet I would’ve just moved to Orange County. The rooftop and pool areas are resort style. The view from the rooftop of either building gives you a unique view of LA. In my opinion you can’t really get all of what you get here,the further you go into downtown, for this price so this place is a no brainer.
