First time here, and waited forever to see a doctor, how come clinic like this still able to stay open

Well Space is the worst doctor office in Sacramento. I called to schedule an appointment and get hung up on. I show up to the office early to be told that I didn’t have a appointment that day even though they scheduled me for appointment that day and called me to confirm my appointment. I’ve been sent to labs without them sending the correct paperwork over. They do not refill prescriptions. if you don’t have Covid they won’t treat you. I’ve been to the ER over 40 times since becoming a patient here.

I can understand the bad reviews. I tested positive for Covid last week. I wasn't feeling terrible at the time but called my doctor anyway. I was advised that they did not have any immediate appointments but that I should go to the Alhambra walk in clinic for a confirmation test and palliative treatment. I pointed out that it's 35 minutes away and I didn't want to be turned away. She said no that wouldn't happen, that's what the walk in clinic was for. When I got there it was a little after 5pm. I explained what I needed at check in and the receptionist immediately said they had too many other patients ahead of me and I would need to come back in the morning! They close at 8pm and there were 4 people in the waiting area! I'm scared and just want some answers and reassurance!

3 trips that total about 14 hours of my life wasted at this place....I would give them zero but in order to say how bad they are there you have to pick a star. nurse practitioner would not even help my type 1 diabetic daughter she said go to the emergency room. poor service let people stand in line and fill out their applications when the day before they made you step out of line to fill out your applications

Same! I literally sit on the phone for so long trying to get an appointment and then they give me an option for call back number, which they take forever to do or call back when I’m working. Even the Alahambra location takes forever. They have no care. I’ve only spoken to a few that are really nice and care about patients needs, it gets so old.

That can happen anywhere unfortunately, even with primary care physicians. The doctors at urgent care can only look at your recent symptoms in current scope to give medical input, they can't possibly be responsible for knowing if your symptoms worsen or escalate. That is why every doctor, hospital or facility instructs you to return or seek medical help if symptoms worsen or persist. Sorry you are looking for answers and not finding them. When I was there 2x recently i personally witnessed 3 patients being sent to ER as doctor didnt feel they could adequately treat/evaluate at clinic.
