I’ve been going here for years, and the staff is always gracious and kind. They do their best to minimize wait times, and they are efficient and professional.

Mary, who worked phere on Sat, Feb 26 was Fantastic!!! I came here around 12pm and to complete my title transfer. She Articulated the bad news in a sensitive way that I had to pay taxes on my vehicle purchase. She gave me all options I had in a helpful and detailed manner. And when I returned with the cash she acknowled me while still giving full attention to the client she had in front of her. The amount of respect, and helpfulness she has shown in this small interaction I had with MARY gives me hope that there are still people who care about how they are perceived and how to be helpful to others in a detailed way. MARY should be recognized as a huge influence on the way most people should represent themselves as individuals and as a representative of any group or corporation they are a part of.

Good customer service at this location. It feels very welcoming as soon as you walk in. The guy at the front was nice and answered my questions. The insurance agent, Marine, that helped me was great in the way she beoke down the deductibles and premiums. I'd recommend this location over the one in Burbank.

The employees here are as friendly and polite as you will encounter anywhere. They are knowledgeable and speak to you in a manner that makes you feel comfortable and accepted. There is so much that you can do at AAA and I always pay my registration here, saves me time from having to go to the DMV. You can use their website as well, it has everything they offer.

No appt needed
Yes, they are open regular hours. They process your DMV, insurance bills without going inside, for notary service, they take you in. Great planning and execution...
I would call the AAA office you plan on visiting ahead of time and they will give you the answer.
Usually not, but it doesn't hurt if you make one.
Do you have the ability to get the pink slip signed over to you by the owning relative? If you can get that, then I would also recommend that you have the relative make out a "bill of sale" to you, saying that they sold it to you for $100. (or possibly $75 - a nominal amount); otherwise you will probably have to pay the State Sales Tax on the car and a registration fee based on the car's Blue Book value. The State may have worked around one or both of those loopholes by now, to take away those tax benefit from you, but it is certainly worth the try. If you can NOT get the pink slip from the owner, then your task to get it registered to you will be much, much more difficult. Talk to a AAA agent, in the vehicle registration department. They will certainly be your best source of knowledgeable help with this.
You have to be a member, pay by cash or check and have all your paperwork in order. Recently I was at this office and their DMV computer was down and I heard someone say "Again?' so it might be a good idea to call first. I have been there to do DMV business many times and never had any problems. The wait is normally fairly short and they often have two clerks working the DMV desk if necessary.
You are not asking AAA but the community. Just drop by an office with your registration and drivers licence. You will also have to join their Auto Club to get insurance. Their membership includes roadside services, towing, maps, travel services, discounts on lots of stuff and the ability to purchase their insurance.
HE IS THE BEST THANK YOU SWEETIE GOD BLESS YOU
To get the Real ID card through the Auto Club, members will have to fill out the application and upload documents at REALID.dmv.ca.gov, according to the release. They will have to schedule an appointment at a participating AAA location and pay the usual driver's license or identification card fee.
As far as I know, they will order you plates and have them shipped to the branch or your home depending on which plates you order. Swapping the new plates in the parking lot wouldn't be illegal, I would recommend it as your old plates/tags would no longer be valid.
The title and new registered owner, maybe a statement of facts when you get there
Yes, They are open on Saturdays. You may want to call to confirm due to Covid-19 changes.
I called AAA and was told absolutely and gloves as well. Makes sense & I feel it's seriously wrong if not. I'm 58 w/a respiratory issue & very well could die in the hospital alone if infected. This guy from Northridge wasn't practicing social distancing either. BTW, my mask was on before he arrived until done & back in the truck. I was asked for a totally satisfied rating. Bzzzz! Not even close!
Call the 800 number. Local buildings won't answer. More than likely you will need to go to the dmv for your situation.
You can get your smog certificate print out from your smog guy take it to AAA with your cash or check only to pay registration at AAA You can pay the amount of registration they just won't give you your sticker Unless you have your smog
Not really, the year is mainly what they look at when first glance, they only run your tags for other reasons but not for something as simple as being placed on the wrong side
Not likely, but best to call them as they are not on this forum.
Not really, but it helps with speeding up the process.
Seriously? Ok, $164. Sorry, just kidding. Any quote from any insurer requires a lot of info. You won't even get a ballpark figure without all of it.
Registration
Yes they're open 10am -2pm which is stated on their website : )
You can mail the proof to address on the citation or go to a local police station.
I know you can apply for a passport at Triple A so I don't see why they could not read knew it but I highly recommend that you give him a call and I'll answer you right over the phone and you'll save yourself a drive and a wait. I need to do the same thing I was gonna give them a call as well just to check because I did not know until recently that they had that service and when a friend of mine joined he got this giant package of stuff and I never looked to mine and mine is now in storage so I do know that they do were passport work there. Give them a call you'll save yourself a headache

Call AAA first. It's much easier to get thru to a live person who can answer your questions.
Yes, but call to confirm
Yes, they accept cash & checks for DMV payments.
I wouldn't see why not, as long as your a member
Donna as long as you are a member, just walk in to any location and register your car
Can get d l test manual hear without going to the dmv and standing in long line mike
Most locations have all the maps. It's been about a year when I last got maps and they had everything.
No
Yes
M-F 9 to 5 , SA 10 to 2
Yes,AAA gives small dmv paper, you have to carry existing licence card and this paper, but if you want new licence card or Id card you have to go dmv because they took a picture.
You gotta fix your membership first, then you can have DMV stuff done. Remember that it's cash only
Yes, but DMV is check or cash only I believe.
If you dont pay them . They stay with the vehicle. If the person finds out about them or stopped by police, alk they have to prove is that you owned the car and got the tickets. You can be sued and charged for them.
Yes, as long as you have all the necessary paperwork to prove that the car is yours & was register previously.
The state DMV requires fees to trasfer vehicle titles. The purchase or gift of vehicles does not include any DMV fees. Normally the tile transfer and registration are done at the same time. I just had to do that very same thing.
Tim's right. Auto Club will help you.
I think you can. Just call them. I used to buy them at Costco long time ago.
Closed sundays
I think you can't. few years ago I had this problem with AAA
