It was awesome getting to watch the sunset with so many doggos around! We loved getting to enjoy this beach and seeing all that there was to see from the shore! Loved every minute of it! Parking is close by as well!

My mini pin had a wonderful time at the dog beach with other friendly pets. I enjoyed watching Brown feet playing with others breeds of dogs. Brown feet a Texas dog. He never seen so many dogs in his life. He had fun.

Took my dogs for their first time... and it was amazing!! Super clean! Everyone I met was so friendly and all the dogs were so well behaved, on AND off leash. My dogs were a little nervous, this being their first time.. but overall, it was awesome! I highly recommend this beach!!🥰

Lovely beach for people and dogs alike. The kids had a blast. Pretty big stretch of beach. Has restrooms and an outdoor shower. There is parking also, but it is a pay lot.

Either way. If your dog is shy suit her/him up.
Sure, as long as you are okay with dogs running up to them. My ninety pounder was having a blast with a girl on her boogie board.
There are, but they are awful. Bring your own toliet paper and hand sanitizer.
I checked is because the other side is for Swimmers
Yes, but you are only allowed to swim by "doggie paddling".
My dog became territorial. She peed on the neighboring persons bag. I was apologetic. He smiles and "said, "it's okay".Huh... Lol
There you can bring your pets any size any color etc. They will enjoy the that place
No, I would go on Saturday and Sundays and never had to pay. 🖒
Thanks everyone , took our dog a couple of years ago but I didn't remember where we stayed it seems like it was about 5 miles..not bad
I saw a food truck but I don't think it was dog food
Yes, but just don't be surprised when pooches try to steal it 🤣💙🙃
Parking lot is accessible by the Belmont pool entrance. At the moment, the Granada St. entrance is closed due to the Twilight movies. After 6 pm parking is free.
Yup! If it's helpful, navigate exactly to it's point on Google Maps, because there's a designated area between two lifeguard towers that are off leash dog areas! Have fun!
Yes you can
Dogs and humans! 😊
No. If your dog runs away then I wouldn't let them outside. Matter of fact, I'd train the dog better. Love this place. I let my dog go freely and I do my own thing, he meets up with me eventually later on. It's a great place
Lot is paid parking about 150 per hour and accept all forms of payment
No. But you can just sleep in your car
Yes. It's open every day.

Yes, we took chairs and i also saw people with large umbrellas
You can keep your pup on a leash at first and see how it goes ☺️ but other dogs will be off leash, so keep that in mind
Hi there, there is no specifications at the beach regarding if the dogs need to be fixed. So be forewarned that if a dog just does jump on your dog new dogs have female she might get pregnant.
Yes there is wen I was there I seen them till like 6:30 pm
Hi Jacqueline. Yes the showers are located outside of the restrooms there is usually a line for them but being mostly comprised of dog lovers... Well.... Mostly nice caring people. The restrooms are not the cleanest but there are a few to choose from. 2 in front and a row of about 8 down the left side by the shower. They are all single bathrooms with locks. The showers allow for people and animals to rinse off with different level shower heads but only one shower is there to use so the line can be long.
Rosie's is an area called Belmont Shore that has a lot of beach houses also caused by a Seal Beach which has a nice board walk along the beach but it's not dog friendly
Dogs are usually nude.
Yes
Yup, no lockers. Just gotta keep an eye on your things. Most people mind their business. Leave what you don't need in the car
yes
No, but Belmont Shores is within walking distance and has numerous restaurants.
Its like a regular dog park.. just on the beach.. you can keep him on, or if he'sok take him off.. it just your responsibility to make sure he is safe, and other dogs/people are safe...
Once you're within the boundaries of the dog beach, you can unleash them and let them run wherever their little hearts desire!
Of course. Great beach! If you're eating though, expect dogs to check it out!
Nope! After you get into the actual dog park area, they're allowed to be off leash.
I thought our dog would just run away, but once on the beach, one had fun playing and interacting with other dogs and the other just kept an eye on me, making sure I was right behind him. For our dogs it was a complete change, they were on their own, more behaved than with their leash. Walking across the parking lot they pulled and were defensive towards anyone walking by me, we got to the sand, let off the leash and wow. They were just like children, couldn't wait to play and jump and explore. Just do be careful with other dogs, my dogs wag their tails amd perk up their ears and do this little jumping thing when they are happy and excited to see other dogs. When my Jude was protecting his snacks for the day he will growl if any dog came near his bag, but not agressive. We have been taking our dogs for years and not once did we have a bad experience. Watch your dog, you will begin to notice their character. Above all, have fun with them, pay attention it is such a good memory!
I think you should always assume there are critters in the ocean.
Agreed, I take my dog to Rosie's at all hours. I work a crazy schedule and that rule has never been enforced for me. I hope that you have a happy 4th
Last night it was nice but tonight it was a little windy and cool out.
6am to 8pm within the boundaries.
