Perfect apartment. Serviced by Verizon and Spectrum ISPs, go with Verizon - Spectrum sucks here. Maintenance always comes day of issue, front office is communicative. Only complaint is that AC units don't function very well, it can get quite hot in the summer. Perfect experience otherwise.

I have lived at Woodlake for about 2 and a half years. I like living here very much. The apartments are nice, the people in the rental office are great, and the grounds of the complex are clean and pleasant. The location is also very good. It is very close to the ramp to the highway. You can be on the highway in just a minute or two after driving out from the complex. Also very close is Crossgates Mall, Stuyvesant Plaza (an upscale outdoor shopping plaza), a Price Chopper grocery store, and many restaurants. I feel totally safe here. There is plenty of parking too and the lots are well plowed in winter. I have a reserved, covered parking spot, which is really great, but it is not necessary. I also lived at Woodlake from 2011-2012, but then I moved to Maryland for work. I moved back to the Albany area in 2018, and I chose to move back to Woodlake.

The community at Woodlake is truly something special for the area. Apartment living in Albany and the surrounding area typically does not beget the kind of luxuries offered here. Specifically, this property is surrounded by lush foliage with pools and ponds nestled throughout the property. The water features are always kept in great shape, which are ever so inviting to the ducks and birds that frequent them. It is such a simple luxury, but one that honestly is hard to find elsewhere. Aside from the beauty of the property, the staff in the leasing office are kind, courteous and always very responsive. The same can also be said about the maintenance staff, who are always out and about keeping the property as beautiful as it is. Even though this is not a 'new' construction, you can tell that it was built to last by the types of materials used in each building. Nothing feels cheap, and the noise isolation is something you'd be hard to find in more modern complexes. All-in-all I am very happy with the community here and would be happy to recommend it at 5-stars.

Lived here for 3 years and cant say enough great things about the staff here. The maintenance crew does an amazing job, whether interior issues or snow patrol, they definitely ensure a comfortable living environment. The office staff have always been a pleasure. Heather made my move-in experience very simple and easy. Sam has been a pleasure to work with. Very thoughtful and considerate. Great overall experience here.
