The auto pay malfunctioned 3 times throughout my first year of paying rent during random months of the year. I was charged late fees the first time and the other times I was very rudely told that it was my fault that their website had malfunctioned and hadn’t taken the money out of my account. When we first arrived at the apartment the heat didn’t work and the shower went from being super cold to scalding hot without me touching the handle. Additionally, the door buzzer did not work and there were several mice in our apartment which we had to call maintenance for several separate times. I would not recommend this apartment complex

I have been living at Towers of Colonie for 7 years and it's been great. The convince of Towers is one of the best things about this apartment building. Having a Gym in the building & the outdoor pool with a little grill area in the summer is a great plus. The staff is really nice and maintenance moves quickly.When am inside my apartment I don't hear my neighbors but I hear what's going on in the hallway. Yes, you get different smells from time to time in the hallway which comes from cooking or garbage.The garbage chute does smell from time to time am thinking some residence also have a part to play in that because some just throw their garbage down without being in bags. Just like any place you go, there's good & bad things about it. From my experience it's been more good than bad. Everyone will have a different experience.

Awesome staff; great maintance; friendly atmosphere; close to shopping, banks, restaurants, movies, and more. I recently had a problem with my shower. Four hours after I reported it, Angel, our maintenance man was here and fixed it promptly and professionally. I would highly recommend living here at the Towers and I myself, look forward to many more years of an enjoyable life style.

Apartment has some smells (moth balls, cigarettes). Be sure to review your move out paperwork closely - apartment might try to tack on a few fees. Overall, not a bad place to live, but nothing really exceptional. Maintenance workers are friendly and quick. Office staff for most part is prompt. Snow removal was pretty prompt as well.
