This is an amazing redevelopment of an Albany public school which was closed years ago. It's sentimental to me because my brother attended the former middle school. It's beautiful inside. And it looks better now than it did as public school. It's heartwarming.

The school has been historically restored into comfortable modern apartments for seniors, disabled and veterans. On-site parking and tight security. And it's become one of the best Senior Living Communities to live in Albany.

The rent is based on income to my knowledge. You also have to meet lower income requirements, and it is a disabled and senior building. They are all nice and new, so I would call the office. They have a sign that says now renting one and two bedrooms outside. One thing is the guy kevin who works there is afraid of dogs and makes people jump through more hoops than I believe is legal or federally allowed for service dogs. He is a tool. The area is ok. And there have been some issues with drug dealers etc. But there are also cameras every where!
