Listening to the staff yell and shout profanities was a damper to our dining experience. The locality was dirty, service was slow. I would NOT recommend eating at this particular location. The burgers were good however...but the fries were burned and skimpy.

Every time you show up to the Matthews location, there is a line of about 20 cars. However, they get you through pretty quickly. Surprising, considering that most people are drunk or high at 3 in the morning, so I'm sure that taking these orders can be challenging. The food comes out quick and with as many times as I've been to this location it's correct about 95% of the time. The staff is friendly and it seems like everyone has been here for a while and cares about what they're doing.

I'm not local, I'm from Idaho, and cook out is the best thing ever in my life. We went with take out because the drive thru line is always infinity long, and for how busy they always are, they move fast. Not Chick-fil-A fast, but faster than other places. The food is delicious, it's not good for you in ANYWAY, but I keep coming back because it's addicting. The walnut shake is the best one btw

Generally I really like cook out. However, the drive through is way to slow now, they don’t have enough people working. Went I and got a hotdog tray for my son and a ice tea and onion rings for myself. 1/2 hour later, I had my son walk back up and ask where things were. I believe they forgot our order. When it came, they gave me Fruit punch, and forgot the onion rings. When I went back up about the drink and onion rings, they got me the correct drink k but said, oh, yea, we are out of Onion rings. Nothing more. I had to ask if I can get a replacement or my money back. They finally gave me some hush puppy’s. Sorry, but cookout is probably off our list for a while. At least until it looks like they can get more and better staff.
