We absolutely love Haulover Park... the beach is wonderful and the area around the rocks is perfect for building sand castles! It is quiet and the parking is great. We go at least a few times a month. Highly recommended.

We went to Haulover Park for a family picnic, it was absolutely beautiful. They have picnic areas with Bbq's, picnic tables, trees for shade, many beautiful beaches with white sand on the ocean plus a split that connects the ocean to the calm intercoastal clear blue water with many boats passing by. It was magical. In addition, there is a marina, with boats and water-sport rentals as well as many pelicans waiting for the fishing boats to come in. Highly recommended, we loved it, we will be back.

My husband and I went there with our yellow lab September 2021! Wonderful beach. It was my pups first time at the beach and he loved it! Everyone there was respectful and kind.
But!!! there was a older gentleman there taking pictures of everyone and the dogs and I was wondering if anyone knows who that man is, if he has social media, any type of contact? He took amazing pictures of my husband, dog, and i. I never got his contact information before I left. I know it’s a reach but if anyone could help thank you!

Beautiful dog-friendly beach. If you’re thinking of bringing your pooch, PLEASE keep them on a leash at all times. Doggies are animals and they act based on instinct. Your doggie may be well behaved inside and outside the home, but you never know how it will go when they’re interacting with other dogs. Just be safe, for you and for the rest, and keep them leashed!
No. There is an area with signs that indicates the limits between the nude and the regular beach, both belong to halouver.
In the nude side of the beach being nude is not mandatory, it is voluntary
Parking is 7 dollars during the weekends and 6 during the weekdays. Handicapped parkig is free and is located right at the beach so you do not have to walke under the bridge. Just go early is only like 20 parkig spaces but you love the bech
No friend . It is a nudist beach with which you already have the freedom to exhibit your body. A lot of people, gays basically show off on the beach showing their attributes and you should be aware of their walk or looks 😆 . I have heard that in the evening the gays get into the bushes that surround the entire park. But it is a natural park, turtles and other protected animals nest, so the police or animal protection patrol watches the beach, the road outside and all the vegetation. You know what America is like and its Puritanism. Don't go for something improper or silly you want to do to earn a fine or prison, because here they go to extremes 🙄 . I recommend you enjoy the beach, the views, those around you that generally everyone interacts well and a good atmosphere is created, open your dating app like Grindr or Scruff and you will see how you have options just a meter of you. I have done it and I have been accompanied 😉
How old do you have to be to enter the nude beach and is it still a nude beach?

I believe it's 18, just out of the sake of being an adult there. While there aren't people visibly checking IDs, there's no reason to bring a minor that can reason to a nude beach.
And yes, as of this Sunday, it's still a nice beach!
Does it mean i can nude everywhere in this city?

No it doesn't....lol...Only at this particular beach in a particular area.
Can I park my commercial van in case I am working in the building across the street?

Yes there's a dog beach there you can't miss it, you'll see it when you get there. It's 7 days a week from 8AM-3PM. It's $2 all day for people who bring their dogs there. Your pit shouldn't be an issue if it's well behaved & you're responsible.
How far is this beach from Fort Lauderdale?

If you drive a car would be 30min from the airport, depending on wich part of FortLauderdale you are...
There's a small dog park and a large dog park at Haulover, towards the South end. Also, on the beach near lifeguard tower 3, dogs are allowed off leash from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m
Depending of what you like, if you like to enjoy a quiet beach with not too many people, arrive as early as you can, but if you want to mingle, afternoon is your choice
The parking lots for both the north part of the beach which is nude and the south part of the beach are both on the west side. You take walking tunnels under the road (a1a) to get to the beach.
It's FREE to visit. Parking is a flat $7. If your car or tags aren't PERFECT you will get a ticket from the dumbass parking police even after you pay the $7 so BE CAREFUL of you come to this MONEY HUNGRY place!!
I would think if you need a wheelchair you would already have one.Assuming you meant, is the beach accessible, there is a wooden walkway from the parking lot thru the tunnel, and a concrete ramp up to the beach service road. There is a wheelchair friendly mesh pad thru the sea grape out to the beach, but it only goes as far as the edge of the beach. Hope that helps answer your question.
You might have to go park on the other side of the street it's the side opposite from the ocean there's a big parking lot there that should be open by 8Am
Yes you can, you can swim nude, you can lay around nude, and you can stroll the beach nude. There is a section, a pretty large section that is identified as clothing optional
Ramada hotel in miami next to the airport. They have a great bar and restaurant inside. Its fun and you could meet alot of single ppl there. Oleta state park is awesome really close to Haulover park beach and the parking is close and easy access.
1. Approaching people on the beach to phograph them would be totally inappropriate. 2. Photographing people without explicit permission would be even worst. and 3. Planning a professional photo shoot there would be disruptive to everyone who just wants to chill AND it would certainly border on the first two problems above.
That's why the Lifegards are authorized to take and break all cameras found during the strip search at the gate of entry.
I lived a stones throw away from Haulover Beach for one year. I always saw tourist taking their luggage with them to the beach since there are no lockers to leave the items.
There is no alcohol permitted on the beaches, but you are permitted thermos type drink holders (not glass) have never seen anyone have their drinks checked
It is Only Nude on the North End where it is fenced off Lifeguard Towers 12-17....as the Dog Beach is Only between. Lifeguard Towers 3&4.....People Need to know These Points !

Your best bet is to Call the park for specific information. Most of the beach goers are locals and know the spots that they prefer to frequent so it's not really an issue. Those who aren't locals don't usually have a hard time once they get there. There are signs around the beach.
Well there are big parking lots across the street depending on the time of day I see no reason for you to take a break there. I'm old school so I remember the days when trucks were parked right by the northside of the bridge and either east or west side of the street.
Virtually all beaches in South Florida ..... including Haulover ... are swimsuits only ... from Lifeguard Tower #12 south at Haulover and north of Tower #16 .....
I would say it's a lot of older couples, however you still see quite a few younger couples and and singles. All shapes, sizes and gender. This a great beach to be carefree and not worry about outside judgment.
It is public. Very careful It has public bathrooms in perfect condition. The northern part is nudist. Nothing happens if you go and stay dressed but I do not know if it is for you to go with your family. It is very respectful everything.
Hi good day. The nudist beach is in 150 collins more or less. In the north south direction, the parking lot is on the left side. On Sundays you pay 7 dollars for the whole day. You can only pay by credit card. I hope it serves the information
