If you live here you know this is Chicago’s arena for the best sports and best music. I haven’t been here for a while (COVID) but we made it back right after the mandates dropped and we’re able to see Billie Eilish. You can be standing in the pit (G/A) or seated anywhere and the sound in the United center is incredible. It’s clean and convenient surrounded by parking. A lot of people get nervous about traveling to the city because of crime but there is security everywhere. Everyone is helpful in guiding you to the correct door to get back to your car or in our case back to limo row. I had to pick up my purse which was too big to bring in from a bag check across the street but that was my own fault for not paying attention before we got there. It was a great night and everything went smooth from start to finish.

Bulls fan here! Not from Chicago. Beautiful stadium, visually just on point. There is no bad seat in the stadium. Only issue I had was the internet going down on all concessions.. missed damn near 11 minutes of the 3rd just trying to get some food...

I never in my wildest dreams ever thought that I would step into what some call "the house that Michael Jordan built." Just a simple visit took me by surprise. It was huge, even when you enter, you're standing in front of the statue of the legend himself, Michael Jordan. The real reason for my 1st time visit at the United Center, ELTON JOHN!!! We only live once to see all of our dreams come true, but to be at the United Center, my wait is FINALLY OVER!!!

Everything went smoothly. Went on January 3rd to Magic vs Bulls. They checked for proof of vaccination as well as ID. Masks required at all times unless eating/drinking. Seats were awesome. Staff was always professional. Bought nachos, a hot dog, and soda and all were great although expensive (as expected). Place was pretty clean all around. Bathrooms for the men had a line most of the time but you’re in in about 5 minutes or so. Had a blast. Can’t wait to go again. Go Bulls! 👀🔴
There are seats on all floors. Unless a concert has an area on the ground floor for standing. Some concerts still have seats on the ground floor (depends on the type of music). The only time I had to stand on the upper floors was when the Blackhawks were in the playoffs and it was standing room only up on the third deck.
2-3 hours usually for almost most acts. And Depending on the your "seating" and who is performing you could guess when you should go. If they are real popular and you have GA go hours earlier. If you have a seat it's best for 2 hours - 30 minutes before.
The Michael Jordan statue was returned to its permanent location inside the atrium and is now accessible to the public during atrium hours. Hours of operation are as follows.
ATRIUM HOURS:
Non-Event Hours: Monday-Sunday, 10 a.m. - 6p.m
23,500 for concerts, 20,917 for NBA Chicago Bulls games with standing room at least 23,129, and 19,717 for NHL Blackhawks games with standing room at least 22,428.

Do you guys know if there’s an age requirement for GA for the BTS concert since it’s standing? Like “You must be 16 or older” or smth? I wanna know before I buy tickets 😂 Thank you~

It should be listed. If your concerned I'd call stub hun and ask them if there is a age limit. Its easier to get a hold of them vs united center
Paid parking lots all around the UC. You only need a permit for some of the VP sections, but they are clearly labeled. Best bet is to use a pre paid parking service like Spot Hero or similar app and book / guarantee your spot ahead of time.
The best section is floor level or the second level. But if you have to be in section 300's. Whenever you're seated in any section in the 300's the best rows are (A1), (B2) & (C3) it doesn't matter which seat, you should still have a pretty good view of the stage. The best 300 section for me is always the middle section or the section left or right to the middle section the first row. Good luck
I'm going to the Seventeen concert, Jan 12 at what time would it be recommended to go there will there be merchandise booths, and so there's definitely no bringing bags right?
Kristina Martinez | Jan 1, 2020
Debbie Malley | Jan 2, 2020
if you mean a PURSE by bags...you can bring in a purse BUT it has to be no BIGGER than a shoe box!!!
I doubt it, there's no smoking but I will say some guy sat next to me at Jeff Lynne ELO concert and he had a lighter cause he was smoking some real good smoke.
My opinion, not great.
I suggest getting seats at the beginning or end of the aisle so you can can stand and stretch when needed. Or even look at handicap seats, those are much wider sections
Not in walking distance. The United center is actually not that far from downtown Chicago. I suggest going to many of the travel apps and look for hotels that are in the downtown area that are slightly to the West of downtown perhaps near UIC which is a college not too far from the United center. The area immediately around the United center while getting better, is not a place for out of towners.
Is Billie Eliish gonna have a meet and greet befor the concert or something?
Miesha Gacha kitty | Jan 1, 2020
Ashley McCowen | Jan 2, 2020
I'm not sure that's something you'd prolly have to call the United center and ask or look on line
Really? They should perform as long as they can!!!
I know that the Fleetwood Mac concert begins at 8:00 pm on Friday, March 1st. I'm wondering if there is an opening band that night which comes on at 8:00 prior to Fleetwood Mac performing. Any info. would be extremely helpful! Thanks!!!

Catherine Bailey | Jan 1, 2020
Marcel Fromhage | Jan 2, 2020
Little tip: it helps to say which concert on what date you are referring to if you want good answers. If you refer to the Cher concert tonight, it is planned to start at 8pm - yes, I googled that for you....
What time will the cher concert end

Unsure because I am not attending
Is anyone taking their child to Disney on ice in 50 below weather is the show still on
They both sit on the same side, but on each end of the scorers table. The home team chooses which side it wants to sit on. Usually the side they warm up on before the start of a game.
What time did Michelle Obama's event end 11/13/18?

Can you take backpacks in?
Josy Rojas | Jan 1, 2019
R. M. | Jan 2, 2019
That would be a question for the SECURITY team. I would call them before each event you want to attend before attempting to bring anything in just to save you the time and hassel of possibly having to walk all the way back to your vehicle. Also rules may vary from show to show on whats allowed and whats not. Hope that helps.
They make accommodations for people that have seating but cannot use it.. they may be better or worse than the seats you have now but you will still be able to attend both. Call the United center for parking or drop off also.
The United center has many of its own parking lots. All you have to buy in advance but there are places to park as close to across the street that range in price from $20-40 depending on how close and if your spot is an easy out parking spot.
No, you need a ticket just to enter the building. I would suggest getting dinner for yourself or going to a coffee shop. Otherwise pay for parking and bring a book.
Will there not be any problems because I purchased a verified resale ticket from Ticketmaster to the BTS concert at UC. I won't have any problems right? This ticket is legit? They also tell me I can use my phone to get is this true?

Mrs. Teresa Williams | Jan 2, 2019
HeichouElly,
I recommend that you contact Ticket Master customer service and verify the legitimacy of your ticket. I hope you have a great time at the concert!!!
Mrs. Teresa
There is a bar in the atrium that doesn't require you to have a ticket. It's open to the public. Not sure if you can stay throughout an entire event but it's worth a try.
what time do doors open for BTS and what time does the show actually start?
T K | Jan 1, 2019
Warren Baczynski | Jan 2, 2019
According to the united center website, the October 2nd show starts at 8PM and the gates open at 5:30PM
What if the ticket is bought for a minor in someone else’s name?
Kennedy Amaya | Jan 1, 2019
Keith Schaller | Jan 2, 2019
As long as you're not going to an 18 & over event or a fan verified event they don't check ids or care who is named on the ticket. They scan the ticket and push you through.
It's on bts whether or not you can bring those in really. If you went through Ticketmaster for your tickets they should send you a get ready email which will have all that information in there for you. When I went, only cellphones were allowed but it could definitely be different for you though! Hope this helps! 😉
They should be hiring at this time! Give it a shot!😎🙏🙏👌
Can you bring a portable charger?
Kalina Walkowicz | Jan 1, 2019
Jo Jo Dancer | Jan 2, 2019
Yes, there are outlets around the concession areas and near restrooms if you need a quick or momentary charge. You will not, however, find outlets for charging your phone near your seats. There may be outlets in the skyboxes if you have box seats, though.
Does row 1 start at the top or bottom of a certain section ?

What type of food is in thr stadium
michael Gonzalez | Jan 1, 2019
Kari | Jan 2, 2019
Everything! Pizza, sit down table service, hot dogs, etc.
I already bought tickets to see BTS and I am 17 could I bring my 12 year old sister if I already paid for the tickets?
No, you can go but just take ID's with you if they don't asked don t tell them about ID's. Show them only if asked but I don't think there going to ask for ID'S
After checking out public transport I ended up just getting an uber, after the concert it's best to find a bar about 10/15 walk away and ordering a taxi as getting an uber afterwards proved difficult
I have been there when shows end at 10pm & some artists play until 11:15pm or so.....If I were you, I would tell them 10:30 as they need to be close and there's lots of traffic in the area anyway.....
There are some rough areas if you start straying away from the general vicinity of the United Center. Being by the United Center is safe in my opinion but don't walk off into a surrounding neighborhood on your own. I've been to the United Center for plenty of events and I've never had a problem.
Yes, but concerts may be set up differently depending on if they have a General Admission standing area against the stage & then seats, or just all seating up to the stage. Check the map/seating chart at the UC website or on the ticketing website you're looking to purchase from.
If you don't have a parking zone on your ticket you will need to look for the signs that show general or public parking. Prices for parking close to the stadium range from $15 to $35, most lots cost $25. You can also find parking spots on numerous parking spot apps, usually for a lower cost
We recently stayed at Cambria Hotel for the Lana del Rey concert and took a Lyft to the United center. We loved it! Beautiful rooms and wonderful staff.
Offical Stadium parking is $25 (not sure where Brian saw $40, but that may be VIP parking). You can find off-site parking a short walk away for $20, and a bit further for $15. Sometimes you can negotiate with off-site if the event has already started. Hope that helps.
20-25 bucks average price for parking unless they run out and only have easy out parking that can be up to around 50!!! The parking pass is cool if you can buy in advance that parking lot is official United center parking.
Not sure what the total seating cap is but the usher were on their jobs making sure everyone was seated in what they paid for. It was a nice turn out--I miss BLVCK Chgo it, was good to see so many of us partying and enjoying the show w/o any folley...I was on the Lexus 300 level, which wasn't close but still in good view of the stage. The hanging screens are a nice touch also. Sound wise, the house engineer did his thing alongside Young Guru. I enjoyed it. Peace y'all! #Jigga #444 #HipHop
This arena does have concerts, they also have their own building policies and the artist policies. With the pandemic still going, I do not believe they are having any concerts on schedule.
