I've lived at The Metropolitan Apts. for almost 11 years now. I've been very happy living there. Bro Rat's review I totally agree with. Nathan's review does not describe the building as I know it. Jesse, the manager, will ask tenants to turn down music or TV's if she gets a complaint, she'll talk to a tenant if rent isn't paid on time, but I've never known her to be rude to anyone, unless that person would come up to her and just start screaming in her face ... then Jesse might raise her voice to get them to calm down, so she can figure out what the perceived problem is and then try to get it fixed. I do remember the tenant who brought in bed bugs. That was 7 - 8 years ago. His lease was not renewed, he left and there's been no new reports of bugs since then that I'm aware of. The studio apts are the biggest in size that I saw when I looked around that entire area. Before someone moves in, each unit is painted and new carpet is installed. The majority of the time, there's a waiting list of people who want to move in as soon as an apt. becomes vacant. I think Nathan has a personal problem with Jesse, so he came here to post a bad review of the building as a way to punish her.

Pretty Rude female Property Manager Named "Jesse" The place is a slum and filled with druggies and the units are crappy. Good luck getting rid of the bed bugs.

. Lived here for tive years. Rent is reasonable. The property owner (Steve) keeps the place up. The manager (Jesse) is dedicated and hard-working. Residents a nice mix of age groups. No party people. Elevator for the handicapped in wheelchairs. A lot of residents have lived here for decades, and the place has a 'community' feel. Friendly residents overall.
