lived here for over a year. Awful customer service, at least in the office. I was hung up on by someone at the front office when trying to figure out how to pay rent after they changed their system. Completely unprofessional. Darnell is great and is always super helpful and kindhearted, but I have been nothing but belittled and gaslit by the rest of the team :(. The communication is just awful. We called maintenance 3 times last year about water leaking in our bathroom ceiling, leaving giant puddles of rust and dirt in the tub, and water covering the floor for months. Each time maintenance showed up, they said it was “supposed to do that.” We have an outlet that doesn’t work so we had maintenance over and he said “that’s supposed to be like that.” No communication about changing management companies, besides the email sent over a month prior there was no update or further info given about rent payments, no info about when they change their parking policy, no info on when the pool or gym closes, for how long they’ll be closed, or an estimate on when they’ll be open.

Raised rent by 10% and then closed both pools with no communication as to why. Tennis court has been broken for over a year. Sauna is broke. Gym doesn’t have air conditioning. They switched management companies, provided no way to pay rent and no communication on what to do. Then charged everyone a 10% late fee Oh also the pool is dirty as hell 60% of the time

First of all, there’s a weird phenomenon at this place; there are two complexes right next to each other, both called Ridgecrest. This isn’t normally a problem unless you’re trying to have something delivered to you, since both complexes use the same apartment numbers. I can’t tell you how many times I had food delivered to my apartment that I didn’t order because the layout is so confusing. I just had all my mail sent somewhere else. Aside from that, Ridgecrest is fairly typical as far as mid range apartments go. Office staff was friendly enough, units were okay, maintenance was usually slow to come, thankfully no roaches. The reason for my low review is as follows: I lived here during the ice storm in early 2021. A pipe burst in our apartment and it was flooded. It took them over two weeks to fix the pipes, clean the carpet (which they told us they would outright replace and did not) and restore water. Even after all this, the unit still smelled like mildew. Luckily I was able to stay with family in town, but the unit itself was uninhabitable for, again, half an entire month. Ridgecrest management refused reimburse me for the time we weren’t and couldn’t live there. Two whole weeks where my apartment was wet, smelled like mildew, and had no water, that they forced me to pay for. Naturally I left as soon as the lease ends. If you’re looking for a decently inexpensive place to live, you can probably do worse than here, but be wary of the greedy management.

I called yesterday and spoke with a young man named Darnell and I can say he was VERY helpful. He was so knowledgeable about the floor plans, property and the area. I can't wait for my up coming tour of the unit (Even though I am ready to lease now because of him). If anyone is looking for a place to rent call Darnell I promise you want but disappointed
