Finally completed doing all the different paths, it's intense! If you have a mountain bike you can probably do all of them in one day. If you're on foot, it may take about 6 different trips to actually complete all the different paths. Definitely worth it! Bring water 💧 and come prepared for a solid leg workout! Lol enjoy!!! 🏞❤️🔥💯

I love this short 2 Miles round-trip hike. Gorgeous views, a cute Teepee around half way and a gorgeous waterfall at the end. I like to cross the creek by the rocks for a better view at the lovely waterfall. I love this place, cleaner bathrooms, picnic tables, you can even bring your bike or horses.

Great after work hike. Waterfall was beautiful. Wondering the water quality as a sewer pipe is next to the creek. Thankfully I didn’t go in.

This is a wonderful small to medium waterfall. There are a few trails in the area and you can pick and choose the route to get to the falls. All of the trails are very easy and manageable for all fitness levels. Going down to the falls can get a little steep so just be aware of that. There are picnic tables around the trail, I counted a total of 5 so this would be a great place to bring the family and have a picnic. It is very relaxing and shaded at the falls and along the river/stream. Unfortunately there is no swimming - and plenty of signs posted saying this, as the water is runoff water.

Yes its is, I went there with my 2 children.
There are signs posted that say no swimming, but doesn't mean you can't! During certain times of the year, its deep enough to climb the rock and jump in from the top!
It was open last weekend, and I didn't see any indication it would be closed this weekend
The hours are sunrise to sunset, you wouldn't want to do the hike in the dark anyway. They water is off limits because there are small rocks in there that are hazardous, also the water is runoff from yards and I think it is toxics because of all the concentration of fertilizers. You can tell because the water is very green and there is a lot of algae growing in it. Fertilizer use really needs to decrease in general.
Others have posted that it is run off /gray water... whether it's from that location or not, good chance there's all kinds of interesting things in that water (hence the no swimming signs).
Yes you can. Mountain bike would be safer. No tips as paradise falls is a loop trail.
You can camp close by at a Campground about 1/3 of mile. You will have to get permission and permit.
From the 101: Take Lynn road to Avenida de Los Arboles. turn left on Arboles. Go to the end and make a u-turn and turn immediately into the parking. If that lot is full, continue down the gravel road to the second parking lot. Both lots have good signage to paradise falls.
During the week is best, weekends tend to be much more busy, anytime of the day works really
Maybe 30 minutes.
The parking lot is reasonably large - the first half of the trail is pretty wide, but just like Mayur Patel says, it gets pretty narrow close to the falls.
Yes, there is. I went last week and there was a decent amount.
Opens at sunrise
Live? No. You're thinking of Paradise Falls in Northern CA. This is a 1 mile reach way hike. No camping.
Yes, it is open. The website for the park should have the park hours.
About 1 mile from the parking lot with about 200 feet total elevation change
Yes, it's open
I went there last weekend.
On avenida de los arboles and Lynn road drive towards the mountain all the way at the end of the street
Yes, I just walked the trails and walked by it
Not true. It has been open for sometime.
It's not difficult at all. It's beautiful and well worth thr trip. It's about a mile or so, to thr waterfall. Decline on thr way in, incline on the way out.
Yes. I would go early, or late afternoon. It's too darn hot! Enjoy
Hi there. As far as I know, the trails are only open during the week. Please avoid parking on the residential area. I believe this was part of what led to the trails being closed during weekends. Please remember to follow the social distancing guidelines and wear a mask, if not at all times, at least when fellow hikers are near you on the trails. Most importantly, enjoy your trek!
it's actively flowing right now
No and unfortunately until people can respect it and obey the signs it will stay closed
No, it has hills but doable unless you might have balance issues. There are plenty of fairly level trails.
The water is partially fed by a reclaimed water source and the signs in the area specifically do not swim.
Yes, they are located just past the falls as part of the hike loop.
There's multiple paths you can take. The shortest version to the falls is about 1.5 miles each way.
Sunset. But it's impossible to really close it. The place is too big. There are no doors or roads to shut off.
No it is posted in the website buried under stupid stuff call registration and permits. Makes more sense to post under general Information so it's easy to find but I guess California does this to make money off people who have common sense that would not look under that type of heading. Well at least I didnt get a ticket.
There are no houses at Paradise falls, real or fake. There are real houses on top of the canyon farther up Wildwood Creek though.
Follow signs to Paradise falls
There are two parking lots in the park itself. You can also park on the street. But it's never so crowded that you need to park on the street.
There are restrooms in a park across the street, about half a mile away. And those are open only sunrise to sunset, I think. So, if you are in a hurry or if it's dark, tough!
Waterfalls still flowing.fire burned up near lizard rock
No.
There is a drinking fountain at the "tepee" structurejust above the falls
This is part of wildwood regional park.
The trails that take you to Paradise Falls from Thousand Oaks are not wide enough at times. To think of it, I haven't seen anybody horseback riding on any of the trails at Wildwood. It may not be allowed. I'm sorry
That's the only way to get in. 😎. Weekends it's hard to find a parking space. It's public land, or state ran. No diving or swimming in the pond.
Oohhhhh my gosh... wow... well, thank you, brother :-)
Just like other state parks this one has hours. However there are camp grounds for staying overnight. Frankly it is never recommended to hike at night as if anything happens chances of finding you are slim until morning.
No. Not allowed. Signs are posted. Also the water is sewage so it's only a good way to get sick.
You should check with the park services for Wildwood Regional Park campground rules. See if tents or other structures are allowed and where.
Enter on avenida de Los Árboles. Park in the 2nd lower parking lot.from there is it well less than one mile to the falls. Look for the Indian tee pee and go in that direction. Take the road down to the right of the teepee and look for the path to the falls.return via the cave.
There are some gravel roads and some trails to the falls.young kids love the falls but a regular stroller would not make it.you would have to carry the stroller on the last part of the hike.
