After a few visits, we found a good boy for our family. Adoption fee was super low and they passed along some stuff that his foster mom bought for him. They also included a pound of their food so that he could adjust to what we buy. They even followed up with a call after a week to see how he has been adjusting. They seem to be focused on finding forever homes for animals, not just getting rid of them.

Yeah
Vet bills can be expensive, we hear you. Unfortunately we can't guarantee the health of our animals after their adoption. We wish we could, but we cannot predict the future.

They are open sunday from noon to 6pm. You can check their website at www.midcoast humane.org they update when animals are available, if the photo of an animal is no longer on the website they have been adopted out
I paid 250 for a puppy last March.
They do. I volunteer there. If you want to volunteer contact the Coastal Humane Society in Brunswick. They handle the volunteers for the Lincoln county facility.
